The Official Ohio Brawl Power Rankings
Mission Statement
To measure skill, reward skill development, inspire, and create a mindset in the Ohio Brawl scene that fosters growth for all players.
Position Criteria
* Tournament Performance
It's not about how high a person placed, but rather who they defeated and who they lost to. Rankings take into consideration a person's collective performances over history and of recent times.
* Consistency of Results
If a person has done well or poorly in a singular tournament, it is not enough to warrant a major shift in their respective rank. On the other hand, a person who has continually produced similar results over many tournaments will be assessed accordingly.
* Competitiveness of Tournaments Participated In
It's great that you can win a local GameStop tournament, but if there's no good players there, don't expect it to boost your ranking. Tournaments which have highly ranked or respected participants (from either local or out of state regions) will be given greater weight.
* Active Players to be Considered for the Next Ranking
In order to be considered an active member for the next ranking, one must:
Go to 2 tournaments per "Season" with at least 14 players.
There must be close to (or better than) a 1 to 4 ratio of PR/HM players (or OoS equiv) to non PR players.
If a player does so, then they are active.

This list not only viewed results since the 1st tournament of the period, but also considered everyone's results in the past periods as a whole. Panelists evaluated players based on their own opinions on who the top players in Ohio were. Recent results were rated higher, but as I stated, results from previous periods were also considered. We don't want these to just be who is the hottest player in the last two months, we want the top 8 of Ohio.
