How does he jump out of shield? Is that super armor or powershield?

neither its the invincible shielding animation that happens before the shield comes up

What frames said. It's the time between when you press shield and when his shield actually comes up. He's invincible during that period.

He experiences the hitlag from hitting an opponent with Green Invincibility (the kind you get from respawning or from picking up a startman)

@Salt, sure we can smash any time. But you have to bring melee (I lost mine Q_Q).

Haha, I wouldn't do that. I got 16 hours of school tomorrow, and friday -> sunday is the global game jam, but after this weekend I should be free to smash all the time.

I'll let you know.
