2. Uitstappen bij Station Seghwaert
3. 10 seconden lopen naar de venue (het rode gebouw bij de T-splitsing naast het station)
Vanuit Utrecht / Gouda (dus via station Zoetermeer);
Je kan nog steeds met de trein naar zoetermeer station komen vanuit den haag centraal en utrecht centraal, De intercity stopt echter niet meer in Zoetermeer (let hier dus goed op!). Poule rules: because there if a lot of misunderstanding with poules i wanna give some clear ground rules: of for some reason 2 players seem to have ended up in a tie we will review who wins in this order:

2. total matches won, if this is also a tie we will go to the last factor
3. the winner of the set that the tied players played against eachother.
4. In case of a 3-way tie and the first 3 factors are all equal, there will be a rematch for those 3 players
At the start of each set both players will have the chance to ban one level for the entire set.

Rules for teams:
Team attack is on. Due to lag issues Fountain of Dreams will be replaced by Yoshi's story in the random stages.
All other rules are the same as 1 vs 1.
----------
BRAWL
----------
- Singles: The first round will consist of sixteen pools of four or five players. In each pool the two highest ranking players will advance to a 32-man Double Elimination bracket. If a tie occurs in a pool, the placing will be determined by (in this order) the result of the match between the players who are tied, the number of losses and a rematch between all those who are tied. Should the players still be tied after these procedures, the outcome will have to be determined by a coin toss.
- Teams: Teams will start out directly with a Double Elimination bracket.
Set rules
- 3 Stock
- 8 minute timer
- Items are set to "off" and "none".
- All sets with the exception of winner's finals, loser's finals, and the championship are best of 3 matches (best of 5 and above will be played out for any "finals" matches). Finals will be best of 7.
- When players meet for the second time in the DE bracket, the score from their first set is carried over to the second set. For example, Player A and Player B ended a Bo3 set in the winner's bracket with a score of 2-1. If they meet again in the loser's bracket at a point where Bo5 is played, they instead play a Bo9 that starts with a score of 2-1 in favor of player A. As you can see, the second set is a Bo(x+y+1), with x being the maximum number of matches in the first set and y being the maximum number of matches in the second set at that point in the bracket. If this applies to the finals, only the first set is played under these conditions. This means that if the player who lost the first set in the bracket wins the first set in finals, the second set is played out as a Bo7 that starts at 0-0.
- In the event of a dispute, controller ports will be selected by Rock-Paper-Scissors.
- No player may choose the stage they have LAST won on in that set unless agreed upon by both players.
- In the event of a dispute in team matches, the ports will be determined in a 1221 fashion; whoever wins the RPS will choose first, then the opposing team will get their ports, and then the teammate of the RPS winner will get the last port.
- If the timer runs out, the victor is determined first by stock and then by percentage.
- Resolving Ties: Any games ending in time running out should always be decided by stock, and then percents. If percents are the same or both players die simultaneously, there will be a 1 stock overttime. Bowser's suicide klaw is exempt from this rule.
- If a game ends with Bowser doing his suicide klaw and it ends in sudden death, the sudden death will be ignored and that game will count as a win for Bowser.
- You are responsible for your own controller and name tag. Any malfunctions or errors that occur are your responsibility, so bring an extra controller if possible and always check to make sure you're using the correct settings BEFORE a match is played. If a match is to be restarted due to controller functions, it must be agreed upon by both parties.
- Wiimotes and Classic Controller users should know to take the batteries out of their controllers after finishing a set; not only will this save battery life, but it prevents accidental intereference and delay for tournament matches.
- Any action that can prevent the game from continuing (i.e., freezing, disappearing characters, game reset, etc.) will result in a forfeit of that match for the player that initiated the action. You are responsible for knowing your own character, and must be wary about accidentally triggering one of these effects.
Bans
- Metaknight's Infinite Cape glitch is banned.
- Dedede’s standing infinite and little walk infinite are banned. This applies to matches against Bowser, Donkey Kong, Mario, Luigi and Samus.
- Marth's standing infinite is banned. This applies to matches against Lucas and Ness.
- Stalling is banned. Definition of stalling: The act of deliberately avoiding any and all conflict so that one may make the game unplayable. Running away from an opponent to reach a better position is not stalling, while doing an infinite grab endlessly against a wall is. Any infinite chain grabs must end quickly after 300% has been reached so as to prevent excessive stalling.
Additional Rules for Doubles Play
- Life Stealing is allowed.
- Set team attack to ON.
Set format (In Order of Procedure)
- Opponents choose their characters for the first match *
- Opponents start the stage striking procedure
- Each player may announce one stage to be banned for counterpicks of the set
- The first game is played, using the stage chosen during step 2
- The loser of the previous match announces the next match's stage from either the Starter Stage List or the Counter Stage List, taking no more than 2 minutes
- The winner of the previous match chooses their character
- The loser of the previous match chooses their character
- Repeat steps 5-8 for all proceeding matches
*Double blind character selection may be called for the first match
