Veintiséis Tournament

FINAL Update: Slader7 beat Marthos ftw. Good job Slader7. :D

Update: The second round is here, and EVERYONE did their fight. I'm so proud of you guys! :D:D:D Brackets are updated, and the next round is due on 03/26/10.

Update 2: The semifinals are here, even if I had to do a coin flip. Sorry Cubone. Sooooo, the brackets are updated. Matches due 04/01/10. Oh, and don't forget, now that it's the semifinals, it's best 3/5.

Hey, this is gonna be a 16-man tournament, hence the name (actually, my Spanish fails, and it shoulda been named diciséis. XD). Don't join if you're not gonna do your matches, but I guess that's kinda useless to say, cause everyone says that, and people are still a bunch of no-shows. :/ It's my first tournament, so I'm gonna make it pretty generic.

RULES:

*3 stock
*8 minutes
*No items
*Normal fights are best 2/3
*Semi-finals fights, Final fight and bronze final fight are best 3/5
*Anything goes except for the Dimensional Infinite Cape of the Knight move (aka D.I.C.K. move) and stalling
*You can use three different characters to be specified at sign-up
*No sudden death, if it gets to sudden death, winner is determined by stock then percent
*If a sacrificial KO finishes both players, the one that initiated it wins

Thanks, and yeah, I tried the same thing, but could never join one early enough. I'm tryin to get as much practice in as I can too. If you're lookin to fight people, this will help a lot.

Don't join too many tournaments, It piles up and you end up not doing matches. Trust me, I know.

I know I set a limit for myself plus got nothing better to do really since everyone near me is busy with jobs and such.

I don't like pictochat either in competitive play, it's cool in FFA, but I hate it in CP mostly cause of the wind, but oh well.

@Jbandit Don't worry there is always japes

do we use stage striking for the neutrals? and we get to ban stages Like jbandit said right? You get to ban one stage each set you play right. I think that's how it works This is my first tourney so Im just learning.

hmmmm nah I would use the ban on JJ not Picto though I reeeeeaaallllyyyy hope 3 more people decide to make it banned.

JJ is normally good for Lucas but Falco does ALOT better on there then him.

When you play against someone, you can ban one CP for the whole best 2/3. My first tourney too, I couldn't sign up for one fast enough, so I just made one. :D
And sure, stage striking works.
