How will you be able to tell this money went back into our tournaments?
- New venue!

RULES OF CONDUCT
****************
>>>GENERAL
0. Finals are Best of 5.
1. In the case of a dispute, use Rock/Paper/Scissors. If that solves nothing, the tournament host is the arbiter of all disputes, so go get him.
2. Blind picks may be requested in the first match of a set.
3. Dave's Stupid Rule: No player may counterpick a stage that they have all ready won on.
4. If both players agree to something, their dreams will come true.
5. Time out winners will be determined first by stock, then by percentage. If percent is tied, the match will be replayed. Any form of Sudden Death is strictly forbidden.
>>>PROCEDURE
1. Blind Picks character selection.
2. Stage Striking: Players eliminate stages from the Starter Stage List until only 1 remains, and the players then play the first match on that stage. Players strike stages in 1 2 2 1 order.
3. The first match is played.
4. Winning player of the preceding match bans a stage.
5. The losing player of preceding match picks stage for the next match.
6. The winning player of preceding match picks character.
7. The losing player picks character.
8. The next match is played.
9. Repeat 4-8 for all consecutive matches as necessary until the set is complete.
>>>RESPONSIBILITIES
Players are responsible for:
1. Being familiar with rules and stages.
2. Entrance and venue fees.
3. Punctuality.
4. Personal Hygiene.
5. Controllers and character knowledge.
6. No Johns.
7. Knowing how to work a wiimote, read the **** manual.
>>>FINE PRINT
1. If you came alone and we hooked you up with a team-mate at the tourney, I can't promise that they'll be super awesome, but I will not knowingly hook you up with someone who sucks.
2. Seeding is random, and brackets will be edited at the TO's discretion.
3. Stalling is banned. Ask your TO what stalling is.
4. Do not let other tournament attendees instruct you in your conduct in any way during a match, only a TO can hand down any and all judgments. The guy behind you does not know if you're stalling; the TO does.
5. The use of the character MetaKnight is banned in Melee Singles.
6. The TO reserves the right to return your entry fee and remove you from the premises.
7. Ask questions if anything is unclear. You have a right and responsibility to know these rules.
