CUSTOM STAGE SELECT SCREEN
ok I made this for the persons who hate stages like planet zebes or who wants beta stages on his stage select screen.
Also, the code is made by me, only me. This tutorial dont work in training mode, only in vs mode.

I start:

These are the stages avaliable:
00 - Peach's Castle
01 - Sector Z
02 - Congo Jungle
03 - Planet Zebes
04 - Hyrule Castle
05 - Yoshi's Island
06 - Dream Land
07 - Saffron City
08 - Classic Mushroom Kingdom
09 - Dream Land Beta 1
0A - Dream Land Beta 2
0B - Level From "How To Play SSB Demo"
0C - Yoshi's Island no clouds
0D - Metal Mario Level
0E - Fighting Polygon Team Level

These cant be played:

800A4D09 000E

Select dream land to go to Level From "How To Play SSB Demo"
D00A4D09 0006
800A4D09 000B

Select yoshi island to go to the same stage with no clouds
D00A4D09 0005
800A4D09 000C

And how to do your custom option:

D00A4D09 00XX
800A4D09 00YY
----------------------------
XX - Target
YY - The stage you want to go when select the target

NEW! CUSTOMIZABLE MUSIC!

I'll ask instead of testing: If I exchange a stage, which one will be selected when choosing "Random"?
Also, I'd like to have this in training mode.

Muchas gracias de todos modos.

Amazing... I know you don't have to take requests but. I'll like to know if their's a way to force start a "Random" stage selection with the codes above. I'll planning to get rid of the banned stages and replace them with the "ok" stages. On top of that, I want the (unbanned) stages to be selected at random. Can you think of a way?

Jake is definitely dropping Yoshi
Easy way: Make the banned stages go to a neutral stage (for example, top row goes to Hyrule, bottom row goes to Dreamland, or 3 go to Mushroom Kingdom, 3 go to Saffron, and 3 go to Sector Z... or something like that). There's nothing preventing you from duplicating stages in the stage list (you could even have every stage go to the "race to the finish" stage if you wanted).

asking some cuestions:

1. FD is only playable with my code: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=273584
2. Im currently trying to figure how to do battles in bonus mode. So, for these stages, there arent codes sorry.
3. Random cant be replaced with a stage. The random makes a choose of the original stages. I can do probably a cheat to remove the random buton and make a new buton to make avaliable a new stage slot.
4. I go to update this thread with a customizer song.

Oh ****. I was wishing for too much. It's a great idea none the less. :p

YES! Customizable song! That's what I was going to ask you! You are already working on it. Yes. Just check for this though, "When a custom song is playing, framerate doesn't slow done."

The reason I say this is because I used a texture hack but everything slowed down (due to the fact that more memory is used up at one time). So, you gotta check that. (Only if you can...)

Texture hack increases project64 buffer memory, and slow down sometimes. This happens if textures are HD.

Im thinking if its posible to replace songs with new ones... like mario 64

I would love the bonus stage levels
I am guessing that if it did work, the Jiggs one would be slightly unplayable due to the ceiling.

I wonder if a normal singles match could work on the falcon stage, it seems kinda like a normal stage.

^^ It only works on project 64k, the emulator version of the game.

Unless there is some gameshark for n64.

You can't easily put these codes into a rom hack.

Lol this post was from 2010, Oh Komokomokomo

In terms of gameshark codes, I have seen, at least in my project 64k, an option labeled change select stage to ? and below it has Mushroom Kingdom/the rest of the stages, so I guess it could be possible but long winded.
