Symphony #3: Your Aibou

So, it's now time for my next tournament. The idea for this stemmed from my username. I thought about it, and came up with something. This will be a regular tournament. 16 players, Double Elimination, Normal Stages, Rules, and all that Jazz...
HOWEVER, there is but one catch. You may only use one character throughout the ENTIRE TOURNAMENT. The idea ties in with the word "Aibou", which means "Partner" in Japanese. In this tournament, you will use your "Aibou", your "Partner". That one character that you feel can carry you to victory. Choose well, for you will NOT be allowed to change once the tournament begins.
*Zelda and Sheik are considered one character*
*All of Pokemon Trainer's Pokemon are considered one character*
*Samus and Zero Suit Samus are considered one character*
RULES:
-16 Players
-Double Elimination
-Random Seeding
-3 Stock
-8:00 Time Limit
-Items set to OFF and NONE
-Matches best 2/3. Winners, Losers, and Grand Finals are best 3/5.
-Person in Grand Finals that came from the LOSER'S BRACKET must win 2 sets of 3/5, while the one coming from the WINNER'S BRACKET must win only 1.
-Should a match end in a suicide move like Ganon's Side-B, the winner will be the one who executed the move.
-Meta Knight is allowed, but his Infinite Cape Glitch is NOT.
-NO STALLING.
-Ledge Grab Limit is 50 PER MATCH.
-Stage Striking is allowed, but not required so long as both players agree.
-Both players may also Ban one stage at the start of the match.
-Should the winner of a game wish to change characters in between matches, you must notify your opponent of who you are selecting (otherwise the point of counterpicking will be obsolete).
-Likewise, the loser chooses the next stage.
-You may not counterpick a stage that you have won on unless you and your opponent agree on it.
-Should the time run out in a match, the victor is determined first by stock, then by percentage, and then by Sudden Death.
-Unplayable lag? Either deal with it, or my lucky coin and I will deal with it ourselves.
-Please, if it's possible, record your matches. Be it replays, or youtube vids. If it's replays, you can send them to me. If they are youtube vids, then link them to me. Recording matches is not mandatory, though I would prefer it so I can see the matches for myself.
