Standard Rules:

Sleep clause:
You can't use sleep inducing moves on an opponent's Pokémon when there's another Pokémon on his/her team asleep. Yawn can't be used to PseudoHaze (make opponent switch) when there's another Pokémon asleep caused by you. When the asleep Pokémon awakens or faints, you're free to make another Pokémon of his/her team asleep. Sleep caused by Effect Spore or Rest are excluded from Sleep Clause.

Species clause:
You can't use two of the same Pokémon in a team. I.E. 2 Scizors.

Evasion clause:
You can't use moves that increases your evasion. I.E. Double Team and Minimize.

Self-KO clause:
This clause covers two things. First, when you and your opponent have only one Pokémon left, if you use Explosion or Self-Destruct, you automatically lose. Also, if you use Destiny Bond, with your last Pokémon, and your opponents last Pokémon faints you, you still lose. This clause was made to stop matches from ending in a tie. Recoil moves (Brave Bird, Double-edge, etc.), however, are excluded from this rule.

OHKO clause:
You are strictly prohibited of using OHKO moves. They are Guillotine, Horn Drill, Fissure and Sheer Cold.

No Hacks:
You cannot use Pokemon with illegal moves or stats (999 in all stats or something ridiculous). Legal Pokesav is fine.

No Hax Items*:
These are all the items that rely on luck to activate: Brightpowder, Focus Band, King's Rock, Lax Incense, Quick Claw, Razor Fang, Razor Claw, Scope Lens, Lansat Berry, Stick, and Lucky Punch.

*Hax items are not actually banned in standard rules, though they are frowned upon. However, if you do not want your opponent using hax items, just ask for a "Standard (insert tier here), no hax items" and you're set to go!

If I missed anything please let me know!

A couple nitpicks:

1: Acupressure is not actually against the rules of Evasion clause. Other moves that affect accuracy like Mud Slap, Flash, and Muddy Water are also not against the rules, you might want to put a clarification in case somebody asks about those types of moves as well.
2: The no-hax rule is something you don't really need to put up, as the only items that are really frowned upon in a serious manner are things like quick claw which drastically alter gameplay. Items like brightpowder and king's rock are both items whose effects are generally outclassed by existing standard items and so there isn't a real reason to ban them (or discourage their use).

Since when are hax items frowned upon? If you want to give yourself a 12.5% chance to go first then go ahead. I know I dont care.

i dunno, me singling out quick claw was kinda just me recognizing that stuff like quick claw no guard dynamicpunch is kinda gay. LOL

in general though hax items aren't that big of a deal, the only exception to that imo is quick claw.

We play on Shoddy.

Also, banning Brightpowder is the same as banning Leftovers. Leftovers gives Cacturne and Froslass an extra 20% chance of evading an attack while setting up Substitutes. Brightpowder gives you a 10% chance four times.

Well obviously that shouldn't be legal seeing as "No Soul dew on Latias" should cover that >_>

Besides, if you're bad enough to let that happen then you shouldn't be playing this game.

What the hell did you use to base your NU tier off of? A lot of those pokemon have very niche use, but use nonetheless.

We should develop a LC UU metagame so that we can determine a LC NU.

Oh, your post confused me.

I thought you meant the ppl who do LC should get rid of Uber and OU and play with the other tiers.

I agree that it would be good to include little cup. Aside from that, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Arceus banned in ubers?

Yeah, like Tery said.

Even though it's really ******** that you have to ban something from ubers >_>

If you guys get little cup straightened out then put it on the first post.

I guess so, but you could also argue that it's stupid that there is even a pokemon so strong that people have had to ask whether it should be banned. :/

Yeah, I'm no expert on little cup, so I guess someone else should take the initiative to straighten that out.
