Your judging a move based on like 19 different moves. What don't you understand about that? All that says is Sheik's moves are better than Zelda's.

Shine is one of the best moves in the game, right? Actually, that's very incorrect. What makes it good is Fox's mobility. The Shine by itself is pretty poor of a move. Give Fox's Shine to Jigglypuff. Would she be able to do the really good Shine comboes Fox has? Would she even be able to hit with the Shine?

Also, Give Fox or Falco Jigglypuff's Rest. Imagine what could happen?

You can't just imagine the game with only one move per character and use that to determine the best move. Shine is pretty lame on its own, but what makes it a really good move is its utility in coordination with aerials. Shine single handedly destroys shield grabs and OOS strategies because it's quick and can be used right after aerials. Same with Zelda's down B. Without her down B, she is a bottom tier character. With it, she can transform into a top tier character. The benefits of using down-b are very clear.

It's not breaking a character down to one move, it's looking at a move and seeing what that move allows you to do. Shine allows you do to a lot of stuff, and we already know about it. Zelda's down-B doesn't allow her to be a top tier character, Sheik allows her to be a top tier character. The benefits of Zelda's down-B are brought by the benefits of Sheik, not by the down-B.

OMG JIGGS WITH SHINE WOULD BE ****!!!

First of all, in perfect smash, fox would no longer win by lasering against jiggs cuz she would reflector that **** right back. Also, bair to shine would be the most **** edgeguard and jiggs would be the best character EEEAZY!! Thunders combo but with jab reset rest... get at me.

It would have the shines hitbox/initial animation, but would have rest like knockback and the ability to jump cancel the attack...
