The purpose of this thread is to organize the Smash Melee community in Memphis by putting a general location for tournament information in the area.

Smashfest is BYOC--I only have a few controllers.

Smashfest starts at 7:00 P.M. and lasts until 9:00 P.M.

The best part is--- IT'S FREE!

Bun- I don't know HOW you found out about the little asian boys, but I obviously need to pay them hush money. Also, good **** on making a new power rankings! I really think stuff like this helps keep the smash community together, and it's a good reason to keep playing :ness:

Also, Zane, you gotta get unbusy so you can get in on this =D I'ma go ***** at the rest of Run7 til they stop being lame-os

I am sad about that as well. I was never able to attend one.


We're working on venue stuff. For now, there's PowerPlay. We can bring our own TVs now!

I like the idea of biweeklies hopping between here and Little Rock. Cant say I would make it to everyone, but I would still try.

Agreed! You could even cycle things around even more. For example: Jack/Iori/PrinceZane/etc could host one, VTS/Myself/Yoshiman/etc could host one, KO/Jmoan/etc could host one, and Joot/etc could host also. This way pretty much all of the midsouth gets involved.

There are people worth playing in all 4 areas, so I think it would make travel worth it for those who are getting serious. Plus, when all is said and done, you could make this power rankings include everyone in the midsouth and not just those willing to travel to Memphis all the time. You could even call it something like "The Midsouth Smash Circuit" or something like that when all is said and done. I think it would be ballin'.

I'll probably be dropping off this PR list relatively soon. I'm hoping to go to FAP but if I get a job(which I desperately need) I will undoubtedly be working weekends.
