Let Me Help You Choose!
Hi everyone! This is gonna be a theme tourney. It has been done before and I really enjoyed it, so I decided to renew it! Especially since most of the current tourney participants weren't here to experience it!
Anyway, let's get down to the rules:
1. Sign up with your forum name, brawl tag, friends code AND 5 characters who you don't want to use.
2. When the brackets are posted you play who I match you with. HOWEVER, You and your opponent choose what characters the other can play as, except one of the ones you have banned yourself from using!
How to tell eachother the characters.
Ok, realised a flaw. To avoid people knowing characters before the other and CPing characters, either PM me who you want your opponent to use as soon as brackets are posted, or ask another member to tell them (ie. when the three of you are on, both players PM the stand-in, and he PMs who you have to use. Also, when someone loses a game, the winner has to say who the user will be using, then the loser can chose who the winner has to use.
THERE'S ACTUALLY AN EASIER WAY!
* At the beginning of your first match, select your opponent's character for yourself. They will do the same.
* Start the first match, see who your opponent picked, then no-contest the match.
* Select that character, then restart the match.
After that, normal rules apply!
Rules
-16 Man Single Elimination
-Sets: 2/3 Finals: 3/5
-8-minutes
-3 Stocks
-The Metaknight IDC shenanigan is banned
-No Chain Grabs in place if you play as DDD (thats just gay)
-If a time out occurs the person with more stocks remaining will win -If a tied on stocks the person that has taken less damage counts as a win(you guys better not have the same %'s)
-Suicide KOs count as a win for the person who did it.
-People who dont have a post count at or above 100 cannot join(unless vouched for I dont want random people joining and wasting time space lol)
-Inactive members will be DQ'd
-Those who dont meet the round's deadline for their match I'm DQing one and moving on(GF's are exempt until I get tired)
-No items
