Ok in fact it's a BJCUS (for Buffered Jump Cancel Up Smash), because Falcon's dacus and bdacus don't slide ****.

How to do it :
when in buffer window input dash then jump then Usmash.
So that means on your controller :
-flick forward on the control stick, let go then hold it up and press Y>A.

or with a shoulder button on "jump" (or using claw style) :
-flick forward on the control stick, let go then press jump > Cstick up.

If done right you'll slide the same lenght as a perfect hyphen smash.

It's not gonna make Falcon raep everyone but it seems like it could have some use. FHNair, Uair or Ftilt can be decent setups for bjcus.

Discuss.

The same length as whose hyphen smash?

We already know Falcon has a dacus, it goes shorter than a running upsmash. It has an importance for just that reason.

No it doesn't have more range than hyphen smash, it's just faster.

@PK-ow : Hyphen smash = running Usmash.

This is more useful than Hyphen Smash how?

Can't it be SDI'd anyway?

Falcon slides most of the length of a DACUS anyway. You can also press backward on the control stick and JCUP and he'll do an upsmash in the other direction while stopping his momentum entirely.

A lot of it's old news though, might as well add it for relevance though.

I don't think we're talking about the same thing lol.

Falcon slides less than one Falcon lenght with (b)dacus.
If you're sliding the distance of a hyphen smash while trying to bdacus it just means that you messed up the buffering.

Maybe you should change the thread title to "Falcon's Bdacus".

"Falcon has a bdacus" is going to make people say "everyone has a bdacus".

On another note, I'll look into this a bit later.

So if the opponent gets Hyphen Smashed, the Usmash follows their SDI away, keeping them trapped in both hits, which makes Hyphen Smashing a better option?

So which is better? Hyphen or Bdacus? KO and Rack wise.
