I can conclude from this

  • Hazards do not start until 7:40
  • Wind can activate when apples are on the ground, however apples can activate while the wind is active and whispy cannot shake during either of those
  • The time the wind lasts is random.
However, the pattern...

The wind is a "trigger" for the apples and the shake. Those things will not activate unless the wind has.


Get Blocked

Random Facts
You will bounce off the falling blocks very violently if you hit them while you're sent firing from an attack.

The bomb blocks do 20% damage.

Once a tower of blocks reaches the height the two pass-through platforms, no blocks will fall on that side.

The bomb block glitch occurs when an attack that does less than 1% damage hits a bomb block.


For this part, I did an analysis of the probability of a bomb block appearing among regular blocks.

My Conclusion
Bomb blocks appear at an inconsistent rate, meaning that the probability of a bomb block falling is random.

OMG. Thanks, awesome post and info. Can't believe others haven't replied from this. Interpreting your bomb data, It should be noted that the blocks fell in a 206 : 27 ratio over 8 minutes which is approximately 40:5 which is about 8:1.

So for every 8 normal blocks, one bomb block appears.

How and when was this confirmed? Last I checked it was just a theory. I've seen the glitch activated by large disjoints, getup attacks, invincible attacks all doing far more than 1%. Not to mention I have hit the bomb blocks with multihit attacks that do less than 1% per hit when staled completely (zelda's upsmash, sonic's forward air) and no glitch.

Is there any proof of this?

I'd rather believe what I see proof of. Do you actually have a video proving this, or at least a link to a thread with research? The video in the stage glitch thread clearly shows it being activated by ganondorf's uptilt (27%).

Anyway, do you have any idea why bomb blocks randomly don't have a hitbox sometimes?

Ganon's Utilt has a windbox that does 1% damage and does not affect characters.

Anyway, do you have any idea why bomb blocks randomly don't have a hitbox sometimes?
The bomb explosion hitboxes last for 1 frame. That might explain it.

I'm talking about when you are extremely close to a bomb block (inside of the explosion) and you aren't hurt by it.

I've also seen link's getup attack cause the same glitch.

I'm not trying to barge into your thread and say you are definitely wrong, but if there is proof of what you say, can't you just post it? Or since you seem to be making a stage guide/analysis, maybe you could post instructions on how to activate the glitch. Because after repeatedly using Ganon's uptilt, sonic's forward air (staled) and zelda's upsmash(staled) I have been unable to reproduce the glitch reliably.

Hell I would actually love to be able to camp behind a wall of fire.
