GP Affairs Episode 3: Weekend at Burmy's Results

Thanks a lot to everyone who came out.
Attendance was pretty low again, but the talent level definitely wasn't--the tourney was pretty stacked. And considering the low amount of set-ups we ended up getting everything ran pretty smoothly.

Once again attendance woes were overridden by the generally fun atmosphere, it's always fun hanging out with everyone

Not sure if I want to complain more that my name was ladiesblade or the fact that you added an s at the end of hadesblade =/.

Was fun, but didn't have my yoshi plushie . Also brawl - singles is listed as doubles in OP.

1: Franklin Q. Rizzle [Fizzle] / / <$70> - didn't get revenge in vbrawl . Still trying to figure out how to beat side b in minus =/.

2: Scribble <$35> - ggs, sucks all your b- chars got nerfed. The 0-death you got on me at picto makes up for everything gay the stage has done to you .

3: Count <$21> - Thanks for driving and everything. Worst counterpick ever xD. I can't believe I almost lost to you in minus ><.

4: Ladiesblade [Hadesblades] <$14> - wtf no plushie?

5: Ripple - ggs, why wolf?

5: Oreo - sonic is dumb. Not as dumb as brawl - combos in vbrawl though <3.

7: Swordplay - stop saying you can't beat mk >_>.

7: Composer - nice tourney, gj running it on time with so few setups.

9: Randolph Baconnipples [Dr. Squid] - we didn't get to play ness vs lucas cuz all the tvs got switched to haxed brawl .

9: Pulse - gg in the one or two minus friendlies we had.

9: Caleb - we didn't really talk much, but hopefully I can come out to muncie with count soon.

Oh well, I should take things more seriously in tournament matches, you got lucky composer. Lol.
Hanging with the dayton crew was fun, and didn't make me feel like a failure unlike everything else. xD

That was my bad hades, I was just typing stuff into my comp on autopilot. Good tourney everyone, it was fun.

2. Scribble - I'm kinda salty about B-, but I'm sure if I'd recovered correctly I would've eaten another tipper anyway haha
3. Count - I'm gonna stand my own against you one of these days when I learn how to fight Diddy, not gonna let you shut me down on a starter stage again haha. good games though, congrats on 3rd.
4. Ladiesblade - I wanna play against your Yoshi sometime.
5. Ripple - It was nice meeting you man, I had a good time, thanks for driving all the way out here.

9. Randolph Baconnipples - You and your party arms need to find a character you like playing. I still say your Olimar is really good, you just need more confidence with him.
9. Pulse - Good games all around man, I was worried during B- for a while, I could've sworn you had me. Keep up the work, keep playing with those Dayton guys, you'll get really good really fast.
9. Caleb - I didn't get to play you except in doubles today, sad day.
9. Avenger - Get more confidence in your toon link, scrub. Quit taking people to janky counterpicks when starters will do just fine. And learn how to fight samus.

Not sure about when the next one's gonna be. Definitely not until after March--March is stacked.
I had originally intended on taking an extended break from hosting to focus on getting IU monthlies going, but these are always fun enough to make me want to host the next one.

First: I won my VERY FIRST match in a tournament! (WOOT)

Second: In my opinion, I pulled off my SEXIEST Falcon combo...in Brawl -.

Third: IN. ROCKS! You guys are hilarious.

Quick shouts! This tourney was awesome, I played two amazing, mad close sets with fiz and scribz and had some other really good sets as well!

1: Franklin Q. Rizzle-Such an intense set! The number of adjustments being made was amazing. GGs in minus as well. I can't wait to play you again

2: Scribble-Fun set! You deserved to win one against me after how many times I've clutched it out against you. You put so much pressure on me that I can't think; I'm really excited for our next meeting in bracket.

4: Ladiesblade [Hadesblade] -You weren't at your best at this, and delfino was a silly CP. I'm so lucky that Diddy destroys Yoshi because I honestly think you are a smarter player than me. Great times on the trip as always, can't wait til next time!

5: Ripple -GGs! Week old wolf is scary, and I can't believe how close game one ended up being. Good to see you agian as well.

5: Oreo -I really wanted to play your ICs too I'm always impressed that you get better every tourney you go to. Really good set vs Hades. Looking forward to next time.
