I was iffy on a bunch of the doubles teams. If anybody could help me fill those out, that would be great.

Shoutouts to everybody for how much they're improving. o.0 You guys are all doing a great job showing that you have the potential to be very good players, and I really hope that more tournaments get hosted in my absence over the summer so you guys can continue to develop.

Fun times for my first tourney, the change from WiFi to Offline is lolhuge though.

Did anyone happen to pick up my platinum GCC? I let Scott use it.

Btw Firefly when I learn the Yoshi MU i'm gonna 3 stock you. (With Falcon) :troll:

Wow, results are... strange... to say the least... some upsets happened.

AND FOR ONCE LANDON DOESN'T GET A BYE TO THE WINNER'S FINALS!!!

And another thing... WHAT HAPPENED TO THE 22 CONFIRMED, 35 TOTAL PEOPLE ON THE ATTENDANCE LIST??? Only 15 people total?

For now on, I think it is safe to assume that the tournament attendance will likely be around half the amount shown on the confirmed attendance list.

That said, it is very possible I may have missed this tournament for nothing... I am definitely hoping that that is not the case, but it seems like it may be...

User and his friends left after doubles, if entries had been taken for both at once then they would've had to stay for singles :cool:
(They also never paid venue fees lololol)

I have your GCN controller, also pretty sure I have your Wii's power cord as well?

you screwed up doubles payout..

first of all it's TOP 3 for doubles according to your tournament thread..

Payouts:


Total entry fees for each event will be split into portions and distributed among the top placing players as follows...

Doubles
1st - 60%
2nd - 30%
3rd - 10%

2nd of all you payed Ben and Bryan 144..
Daniel and Hng got 36.. when they should of gotten 54 and 1st place should of gotten 108 while 3rd place should of gotten 18 dollars.. DID NO ONE ELSE NOTICE THIS?! :O

payout was 20-80 because there were less than 10 teams.

it was correct, just advertised wrong since we expected more than 10 teams.

Every time I actually come home with money i'm surprised!

I don't particularly care what the payout is. I don't really mind if it's 70/30 or 80/20, but personally I have always gone with the thought that the winner should get a very large portion of the total sum.

Although bigger payout structures are definitely more friendly and good for players that can easily shoot for top 5 but would have trouble making top 1 or 2.

I propose that we have a steeper payout structure for the pheonix tournies - and a more friendly stucture for the monthlies?

This certainly wasn't the first time we've split the pot differently from 60/30/10 as others have said. And just so we're clear, for those mentioning my name, I didn't even touch the doubles money this time because I wasn't running it. >.>

I actually don`t care what my singles results are lol

I got 1st in doubles with a **** teammate, probably some of the most hype matches i`ve played next to playing doubles with brian at tourneyplay <3333333
