So here's the deal. We got a big apartment with an extra room and bathroom specifically for hosting tournaments. I also have a window AC unit just in case the apartment AC unit can't cut it.
The location is in Lawrence literally right off of I-70. There's a hospital right down the street in case some law and order needs to be dispensed.

Cost/Payouts
$4 Venue fee
$2/$5 Amateur Bracket
$5/10 Pro Singles
$10 Pro-Am Doubles (per team)
$2/5 Side Event
1st=60%
2nd=30%
3rd=10%
Amateur Bracket: Newer players are allowed to participate in the amateur bracket, allowing novice players a chance to play against similar levels of competition for a cash prize and lower entry fee. If you win the amateur bracket, the prize is divided from a portion of the entrance fees based on entrants (1$ on $2 days, and 3$ on $5 days) as well as entry into the pro bracket. The portion not payed out to the winners of the amateur bracket gets put into the pot for pro bracket. If you place enough in the amateur bracket, you will automatically be ineligible to participate in the amateur bracket at future tournaments. If you accumulate 6 amateur points (1st is 3 points, 2nd is 2 points, 3rd is 1 point), OR the TO deems you ineligible due to past tournament experience, you will not be allowed to enter as an amateur. However, if you come in last twice in a row in the pro bracket at previous tournaments, you will again be allowed to enter the amateur bracket.
