Venue Fee: $5
Singles: $10
Doubles: $10
Wasada Crews: $5

Event Schedule
12:00 - Registration Begins
1:00 - Doubles Begins
3:00 - Singles Begins
Wasada Crews will start when theres 8 entrants left in singles

I'm open to whatever rules we should use for Wasada Crews. Maybe randomize every entrant by order of their tier on the TXPR lol.

Circuit Points

Points will be awarded to all those who place well at events. Starting with the second event, this will determine seeding throughout the rest of the circuit. This is important for a couple of reasons:

Those who do not have circuit points may be seeded randomly having a very heavy hitter first round.
Those who accumulate high numbers of circuit points throughout these events may find themselves in a good position during the championship event.

49 players or less:

1st - 45 points
2nd - 35 points
3rd - 25 points
4th - 20 points
5th - 15 points
7th - 10 points
9th - 07 points
13th - 05 points

50 players or more:

1st - 95 points
2nd - 70 points
3rd - 50 points
4th - 35 points
5th - 25 points
7th - 20 points
9th - 15 points
13th - 10 points
17th - 07 points
25th - 04 points
33rd - 01 points

These events will go by the standards of the Unity Ruleset created by the BBR-RC.

Setups

Payouts

Payouts will be extended throughout every event. It will be based on a two-tier scale.

For 49 players or less:
1st=48%
2nd=22%
3rd=14%
4th=8%
5th=4%
5th=4%

For 50 players or more:
1st=44%
2nd=22%
3rd=16%
4th=10%
5th=6%
5th=6%
7th=3%
7th=3%

Doubles:
1-9 teams = 80 / 20
10 - 19 teams = 60 / 30 / 10
20 - 39 teams = 55 / 30 / 10 / 5
40-59 teams = 55 / 25 / 10 / 5 / 2.5 / 2.5
60+ teams = 50 / 25 / 10 / 5 / 3? / 3? / 1? / 1?

I have this written down for the 20th. However, I've gotten ALOT of feedback to host on the 13th because:

-OK is having a tourney on the 20th and Dallas wants to go to that
-This is the last weekend before school starts for everyone

If enough of TX wants this moved to the 13th, it's not a problem for me. Atm, though, I'll have it listed as the 20th.

BTW, San Japan (big anime convention) is right before this. Last year over 50 anime cons goers entered. SA will try to get everyone who's entering it to come to this tourney as well :)

There's a venue fee because it's a circuit event. Every venue fee gets collected from Sync, which goes to payouts for the final event.

Really thought I'd pocket money off the community? lol

edit: and then it should be $3 then since that's what the thread circuit thread said is getting added to bonus pots from venue fee :troll:

@Vinnie, San Japan (convention) is on the 6th. There will be a tourney there as well.

Yes, please move this to the 13th. We are trying to honor our departed friend's last smash tourney that he had in the works by making it as huge as possible. It's called super bit wars and will be taking place on august 20th. It would be greatly appreciated by the oklahoma smash scene if you would move this circuit event to the 13th.
