Directions
You can get a fast train from either London Victoria or London Bridge to East Croydon

The closest station is EAST CROYDON STATION which is a 7 minute walk to the venue

Tournament Rules

Stage Striking - This is done first game (and only first) of every set.
This is where is where you do Rock, Paper, Scissors and who ever wins gets to Strike 1 of the Neutral Stages, then the Loser Strikes 2 Neutral Stages, leaving the winner to decide from the 2 remaining Neutral Stages to play on

Stage Banning - Each player is allowed 1 stage ban from the entire stage list for this tournament, but not before stage striking occurs

Advanced Slob Picks - Loser ALWAYS chooses next stage, then winner chooses character, then loser chooses character

Daves Stupid Rule - You cannot chose a stage you have just won on, unless your opponent agrees on it

The Mages DQ rule: After a match has been called, if a player is 2 minutes late he will receive a warning. At 4 minutes late, he will be given a loss for the first game of the set. After 6 minutes, he will be given a loss of the entire set

SIMPLE EASY DIRECTIONS:

If you are travelling by train and you have arrived at EAST CROYDON STATION leave the station and head right.

Follow the tram line past the traffic light and continue walking down George street until you get to SURREY STREET MARKET (You will see a KFC here).

Turn left into the market and walk through until you get to CROYDON CONFERENCE CENTRE (on the right hand side).

We will be placing signs on the window indicating this is where the tournament will be taking place.

One more thing BE ON TIME!!! We will be starting sign ups as soon as possible.

This thread will probably get remade when official information comes out.

Hey, it is pretty much a tournament with casual players, I got 7th in the monthly in Brawl so I'm not that bad.

I need more training with pro players, but it's not impossible for me to do well.

I'm kidding, but I watched the vid with NO's falco vs your diddy and his falco was like mine 2 years ago lol

There should be a M&M tourney thing on the thursday before this, i'll come to it and **** **** up with my planking mk

lol well I'm certain if I play a pro Falco I will lose, there are some ok players there though, they just need to learn more about the game, but there is still potential. I haven't seen that many MK players there but there was one guy who used to go there to troll and win tournaments.

Who do you main? Is it Diddy?
I thought it was Luigi originally based on your name but in the video vs NO you use Diddy

there are no good mk mainers in the UK, just people with pocket MKs like me lool

and you should play and get experience from kasper/kira his falco is the ****

I actually main Wario, I had the Luigimitsu name since before Brawl was out but I do use Luigi in Brawl as well, I switch between a lot of characters to be honest but Wario and Diddy are my best ones, but they are generally good. I've seen Kasper use Wario and he seems damn good.

Dujuan/Aaron if you need any help then just ask me.

lol the guy I was talking about was a MK player who just spammed a lot XD but your MK was much better, that guy lost to my friend who plays in a cheap way with Wolf and he hasn't been there since (I think he gave up) haha.

If you've heard of a guy called Keoni, he's really good with MK he was at the monthly but he only played friendlies, hopefully he will come. He's a Zelda main but MK is his secondary.

It's not that close, although it used to be I usually win with 2 stocks, It was pretty close when I played Golden Psycho though... I beat his Ike easily with Wario but his Rob gave me a close match. I dunno about a money match because I have no idea how good you are.

Well I'll put it this way, I used to be a top player from 2009-2010 but I stopped going tourneys for a year, now I'm (sort of) getting back into the game. At the last tourney I had (in August) G.P beat my falco in a set with his gay *** rob then I ***** him with MK in GF lololol (don't bring up the ike **** that was dumb and I SD'd twice every game).

Ok, I honestly have little experience playing against Falco, but if I practice that match up maybe I wont do too bad.

Expect to see VA at this event. This time I won't be using falcon, or an old broken pad that is identical to mine.

considering the efficiency of the brighton tournament, if you run it like that e.g. numbered tvs for specific matches etc then yeah should be fine surely.
