This tournament also marks my big return to the scene, and I must say even I'm blown away that we got such a turnout. MT, Edgar, and the rest of Austin Smash: Thanks for coming and providing setups, as well as running the tournament. I feel bad about not starting Melee sooner, but you would have understood if you saw the power problems we had earlier. Either way, glad you guys came.

Jake, Oscar, and the rest of Houston Smash: always fun to see you guys! Wish we could have played friendlies, but we'll see each in Austin in 2 weeks anyways. I foresee good times ahead.

Kyro and SOS: Thank you so much for leaving without a single word. It was great to keep wondering where the heck you guys were and not able to call either one of you because you don't have working phones.

To all the new faces: Glad you guys came and made our first event so great. We always need new people in the scene to make it grow. We can't let the OGs think they're the only ones that still play

Final Notes:

Again, thank you to everyone who came, who helped, and brought set ups. It's hard work, but knowing everyone had fun makes it all worth it.

Also, if anyone accidently walked off with anything that wasn't theirs (like a Gamecube marked GALE) please post up. The Gamecube is the only thing I'm aware that is still unaccounted for.
