Sam. The way you acted today was very disappointing and disrespectful. You shouldn't outright tell people they are a terrible player... especially when those words may bite you back. It is basic sportsmanship to show respect and not be a sore winner. Also, during the tournament, you should really learn some punctuality. It wasn't the best of moves to leave the venue to dine at a nearby restaurant when your upcoming match was imminent. You should count yourself lucky that your opponent was willing to wait as long as he did for you to come back. Lastly, when I was playing my match with Jason, I felt there were better ways to have dealt with the situation. I realize Jason owed you money, but that doesn't mean you should interrupt a match (however casual). When I told you, hey buddy can this wait until the end of the game, you literally answered "Zelda is useless and so it doesn't matter if I interrupt your match". Seriously? I had to shout at you before you left us alone, but within seconds you came back bugging Jason and interrupting us once again. Do you not realize that what you did was very disrespectful?

When you return to the US next week, I hope you'll have taken back some respect and ability to think about others.

asa the one replay I got of Oli was pretty bad. We were rushed to finish it quickly just so I could get a match recorded at the very end and landon kind of wrecked me. I was better in other games I promise.

Bundtcake quit, Forever10Guy is what F10G stands for, if I had beat Crisis I would have done better this tourney(I beat him in an mm though), and I used Snake in a match vs Sushi where he went MK.

:Congratulations to Jason for finally beating me in a set (in losers) with :robbrawl:. When we first played Friday night, you were just ledge camping and too scared to approach every banana. Now, you're stylin' and going in whenever you want against Diddy. I glad our practice the night before helped you prepare for the tournament, and especially Jake's Diddy in LFs. Too bad he went MK game 5

. Keep this up and I'm sure you'll continue to place this high, and even higher when MK gets banned

As some of you know, I'm leaving on Nov. 17 back to the states where smashers are actually good

at planking

. Thanks to Jake for doing a great job organizing and providing the last tournament experience I'll have in B.C. I'm just happy it was spacious

Seriously guys, Jake told me I didn't have to play for a while after losing WSFs. Therefore, I asked him if I could go eat and to call me when my next match was ready and he agreed. It's not anyone's fault and it didn't cause cause any delays as far as I know, especially since WFs was still going on when I played LSFs. Actually, I'm surprised that there were no breaks set for dinnner It's pretty bad that some people even chose not to eat for the entire day.

The problem isn't that you went for food, it was (apparently) because you went to a sitdown restaurant or something like that. Also, I think it would be good if you read what courier said.

How would anyone know what kind of restaurant I went to? I just said I was nearby. Technically, I could have been at a restaurant where takeouts weren't even possible, and no one could fault me if they didn't know.

Regarding Courier's post. First off, I want to thank Dawson for waiting for me. I told Jason over the phone (since Jake was playing a match), that I would be back in 1-2 minutes, and I was.

"When I told you, hey buddy can this wait until the end of the game, you literally answered "Zelda is useless and so it doesn't matter if I interrupt your match".

Like anyone is going to believe that you called me "buddy" or any word with a similar connotation. While this really isn't a big deal, it's obvious that you've changed the words I said and the ones you said to present yourself as the bigger person.

I'll try to paraphrase what was said to the best of my knowledge.

After you told me to wait since you and Jason were playing Shielda dittos,
I asked "Is this tournament?"
You replied, "No, it's friendlies."
I said "Yeah, well, a friendly doesn't mean anything if there's a Zelda in it."

So I did insult Zelda, saying she sucks. I really hope that you don't have such an attachment to a pixelated character that your feelings were actually hurt over that.

True, but I don't remember ever saying something like that yesterday. Courier, even if I said it to you, so what? Suppose I cursed at you, and trashed talked you as hard as I could, so what? Unless you're a nationally ranked player, playing this game is only for entertainment, so it really doesn't matter how bad anyone thinks you are at the game, as long as you're having fun.

That said, I really don't think you're a bad player, Courier. Your Zelda is actually not bad. I had fun in our doubles and FFA matches
