(These results don't actually make sense because Kantrip and SKidd made it further than Sinister and Crisis in the bracket, but they played it out and this is what happened, so w/e. Plus, the fact that SKidd placed last after how close he was to being in the finals is kind of hilarious. )

Yeah, aside from Circle Breaker and his friend (who didn't enter), there was a group of 4 guys who saw the information for the tournament on another gaming site and decided to check it out. One of them had a pretty good Yoshi too. ^.^ They seemed interested in coming out for future events, so hopefully we'll see them at the next monthly!

Sorry, but after playing Dawson's Snake and the epic game 3 we had in pools, I had to do it. I timed out so many people that tourney XD

GGS. Nearly beat you in loser's semis with Puff, which would have given me 2nd place lol. Too bad we couldn't do the rematch money match. Next time though

Thanks for housing and everything, and congrats on the Basketball Scholarship. As far as our matches go, all I can think of is timeouts. Game 3 pools was by far my favourite tournament match I played all tournament, even though I came on the losing end of it. It was too epic. And then there was the timeout at your place... MAKE SURE YOU POST THAT VID, or send me the vid so that I can show it to the Victoria people. It was way too hillarious XD Anyways, thanks for everything

Looks like the scene's still healthy with the MK ban (I guess Breez didn't wanna go tho).

Breez always wants to go but he always derps on getting here lol

Yeah, the MK ban didn't make much of a difference this time. None of our MK mains were here, and the only people with pocket MKs placed 1st, 2nd, and 5th (Crisis). Blue Yoshi said he felt more motivated without MK, despite the fact he went 100% Jigglypuff for singles. =P

Breez wanted to come, but his ride bailed last minute. He was planning on going mainly Diddy, with maybe a bit of Marth on the side.

For the record, I have been planning on an all Jigglypuff run for a year now. I started and bailed on that plan a few times, but this time I finally decided to stay true to it.

And me saying I feel more motivated without MK is based on the fact that after I face a MK in the tournament, I lose all interest in brawl, and usually throw one of my next matches so that I don't have to play anymore. This has happened at basically every tournament I have attended recently. So yes, although I did go Puff the entire time, I finished the tournament still fully in a brawl mood.

Just posting for clarification on my statement.

Next tournament though it actually matters because we'll have derp deap, and very likely breez, not to mention the unity ruleset ban will technically be non-optional.

I'll call it now, I will get 2nd in the January monthly, then 1st in the February monthly. Assuming both are BC only.

so if somebody is in the grand finals against Rob in January, will he throw the match just so that he is correct in his prediction? Or will he still try as hard as he can, caring more about winning than being right?

Jigglypuff is like a bad dedede that can't chaingrab or throw projectiles. Jigglypuff is also like a bad wario that can't kill very easily. That is the great thing about PT. He's not a bad anything, he's just a mediocre combination of bad versions of other characters.
