Battle Network 6!
As most of Houston may have heard, the Gamestop where we usually run Battle Networks is closing down on February 12th, so we are having a farewell tournament at the venue for our final Battle Network there! This tournament will have a pot unlike the previous installments of the Battle Network series and will be the day after HOBO 35 http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=316208 meaning there will be two tournaments in one weekend!
This Battle Network will have three events: Brawl Singles, Brawl Doubles and Balanced Doubles as the side event which will be explained below.
Balanced Teams: A side event once proposed by Dojo when creating the Lone Star Circuit will be tested at this event. The concept is to pair less experienced or skilled players with people more skilled or experienced than they are. Everyone in TX is on the TX PR and are ordered in a tier system. Every tier will get a point value (S=7, A=6, B=5, etc.) and teams will be limited up to a sum of 8 points. For example, if a B tier(5 points) player wanted a teammate, he'd be restricted to only teaming with someone in D tier(3 points) or below because 5+3=8 which is the point cap.

February 12th, 2012. Be there by 10:30 A.M. and we start at 11:30 A.M. (If you are late, there will be an extra $5 fee) Please be at the venue on time because we must leave by 9 P.M.! Punctuality is very important in running a tournament!

Brawl Singles: $5
Brawl Doubles: $10 ($5 per team)
Balanced Teams (side event): $10 ($5 per team)

Parking and food:
There should be ample parking spaces for everyone coming and there's lots of food nearby! The closest food source is the Chik-fil-a in the parking lot of the Gamestop.
Housing:
Go to http://www.hotels.com/ and type in the address to Gamestop. It will show you all the hotels closest to the venue.

Setups:
Please bring setups (Wii+SSBB disc+TV) setups determine the speed of the tournament and we need to be out by 9 P.M.!
Also, if you bring a full setup to HOBO 35 http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=316208 or Battle Network 6 you get into the side event(Balanced Teams) for free!

Brawl Singles:
1st: 50%
2nd: 25%
3rd: 15%
4th: 10%
Brawl Doubles and Balanced Teams:
1st: 60%
2nd: 30%
3rd: 10%
