Doors open at 11:00am. We will start doubles at 12:00pm. Singles will start after doubles or towards the end of it.
Payouts
Payouts are going to be decided based on entrants. We'll start at the basic 60/30/10 in each event, but depending on entrant count, this could get changed. Rules
NO UNITY RULES LOL. That crap is whack as hell. I'm going to just type out some awesome rules right now.
Set procedure is simple. Decide ports amongst yourselves, and decide who will strike first amongst yourselves. Don't be babies. First player or team strikes one starter, the next strikes two, and then a stage is chosen by the initial striker. After the first match, the players announce their stage ban, which is one per player or team, and the loser picks a stage they want to go to. After that, the previous game's winner chooses their character, then loser chooses, and the set proceeds.
All sets are 2/3 besides finals, which are 3/5.
The timer will be set to 8 minutes.
Friendly fire, of course, is on in teams.
NO ITEMS DERP.
There will be a ledge grab limit of...let's go with 40. If the match goes to time and you're over it, GGs you lose. Brawl is flawed and overly defensive enough without people just grabbing the ledge for 8 minutes.
No gliding/flying under the stage forever, either. If you do that M2K vs Gnes garbage, you're getting DQed. You must land on the stage before going under the stage again, and platforms don't count.
No chaingrabbing past 300% or doing anything else that stalls the game. ICs and Dedede are boring enough...just get the kill and move on.
Don't pause, or else you lose a stock. Don't let Cheese defeat you!
Ganondorf and Bowser always win if they suicide kill you on your last stock. Got a problem with it? DON'T BE BAD ENOUGH TO BE ON YOUR LAST STOCK VS BOTTOM TIERS LOL.
