so who else want Ashley Mizuki Robbins from the Another code/Trace Memory games to be in smash?

she'd be an awsome and unique character

moveset: the moveset ideas ive come up with involve many of the assorted items ashley finds through the games

b: uses camera on DAS, flash stuns other characters
b up: D carries her upwards, characters who touch D take damage
b down: matthew block an oncoming attack and then counter attacks by swinging his bag
b side: uses TAS, the beam that comes out flipps characters around

basic attack: strikes with hammer
strong side: swings saw
strong up: throws box of charcoal overhead
strong down: drops small weights

side smash: swings her guitar
up smash: uses hose like a whip
down smash: drops iron ball

up air: swings broom over head
forward air: swipes with fishing rod
down air: drops puzzle box
back air: throws book behind her

dash: slides forward using bag of ice

pummel: jabs with nail
forward throw: pushes them forward and hits them with her bag
back throw: throw behind her and smasks with laptop
up throw: sends them upwards by hitting them with life ring
down throw: drops them to ground and hits them with guitar

final smash: i have to remember, based on the end of chapter quizzes where ashley goes over recent events. ashley stands and goes through her memories, the memories take on the form of images from her games the images cover the stage and damage characters

up taunt: looks through kaleidoscope
down taunt: hugs teddy bear
side taunt: admires her mother's pendant

alternate colours:

Played a demo of her game. Hated it. But her character design is to cool to go to waste on a dying tech demo franchise. Get her in SSB4! A completely original moveset would need to be made. She looks like a boxer to me.

Neutral A: Left Jab , Right Hook, Jump Spin Kick.
Side A: Falling Elbow, Knee Jab
Down A: Crouch Kick
Up A: Uppercut

Side Smash: Elbow Thrust
Down Smash: Splits Kick
Up Smash: Axe Kick

I really wanna see a boxer get into brawl XD
I have no Idea what she's like.

I never played her game but I agree, she looks really cool. I don't mind her playable in smash. :) Is she some kind of detective or something?

I cleared the DS-installment. I dunno how I'd see her playable, considering her company died down (CING) and seeing from the game's walkthrough, I can't really see her... fighting.

About the game, it's about Ashley travelling to an island to meet her (recently-found) father. During that time he meets D, who's a ghost boy of the mansion Ashley was going to meet her father in. The game's slightly in the serious tone compared to other Nintendo-games and it's relatively short. Ashley and her adventure was one part of my childhood though.

I kinda hope she'd appear in the Adventure Mode as one of the important NPC's with her own service or something. I'd be suprised if she was playable though, maybe happy but pretty suprised if they managed to make her playable. (-0_0-)

I'd support her to at least have a character to represent the Nintendo mystery/point n click adventure games. She'd have a higher chance than Ayumi Tachibana (Famicom Tantei Club) and Kyle Hyde (Hotel Dusk 215) since she is actually more popular than them and their respective games didn't have a sequel unlike her game. Trace Memory was actually the most referenced out of the three in Brawl.

Ashley has my full support. We need more female main protagonist (or maybe just females in general), SSB is a major sausage-fest.

I owned, played, and beaten Trace Memory, and I loved the game and the character of Ashley Robbins. I almost regret trading the game in for Pokémon Diamond money, but I digress. I honestly wouldn't know what her moveset could possibly contain, but seeing as they "freestyled" Captain Falcon, Fox, and even Marth's movesets, I'm sure they can work some magic for her. Granted, her chances as a playable character are astronomically slim, but I do support the idea of adding her to the roster.

Eh. I've played the game, really enjoyed it. But i'm not sure if the game is fully licensed by Nintendo or if she is much of a fighter.

Dude could you imagine an adventure mode spanning across the various regions of nintendo?
Just past hyrule field is a small locale where the forgotten mascots of nintendo dwell. The village of memories. Here in this run down place resides Ashley Robbins. Other residents include Barbara (that assist trophy chick) and sukapon.

Like the supporting cast in Sonic Generations? That would be pretty sweet.

I guess it would be interesting. Could represent the "mystery related" Nintendo games.
I wouldn't mind if she's in as playable, but I wouldn't mind if she isn't either.

Famicom Tantei Club got 2 sequels and lots of remakes, and Hotel Dusk got one sequel on the DS.
But I do have to agree she's more well know than the other two (In America at least. I think FTC is still remembered in Japan)
Also ... how was Another Code more represented than Hotel Dusk? They both got the same amount of trophies and stickers (1 trophy of each of the main characters and stickers for secondary characters, as far as I remember), while none of the two got any music representation. FTC got referenced in the NES medley in Brawl and got a trophy in Melee but got no stickers in Brawl, so I guess it was the least represented in the series (overall)

Cing defunked didnt it. so i suppose the character could be up for grabs.
I do like the idea of an adventure mode where the not so prominent characters play a small role. that would be so cool

You might want to change the title from Ashley Robbins to Ashley Mizuki Robbins. Ashley Robbins is a pornstar.

A porn star might be more interesting. This character kind of looks bland

You judge a character on looks, but have you actually played Trace Memory/Another Code? Still, I do believe they'll be hard pressed to make a moveset for her, even though they freestyled moves for the likes of Falcon and Olimar, among other characters.

You know what's a bland character? Kirby. He's literally a ball with eyes and a perpetually happy personality. Can't really get anymore bland than that.

Pink balls with eyes don't exist in real life. However, you can find a girl with ordinary clothing anywhere

You control the pokemon, not the trainer. He's just a background aesthetic. I really don't care about him. I'd actually rather have the female trainers anyway though because they seem to wear increasingly eccentric clothing.

As for Mario and Luigi. I highly doubt you'd see someone wearing their clothing and think it's normal. Besides, unlike Ashley they are comedic in their appearance. A satire, if you will.

To my knowledge, Another Code belongs to Nintendo. Don't quote me on this though.
you are correct, like i said before nintendo own another code, i know this for sure beacuse on the title screen of the game the copyright symbol is next to nintendo

Pretty much this. Trace Memory had at least one more sticker than Hotel Dusk.

hmm.. idk.

a moveset would be very hard to create for this specimen.
and i dont mean they should "falconize" her. sure C falcon never had moves to begin with, but he IS a bounty hunter, so by nature he would have to have SOME type of fighting ability right? (dat six pack).

my question is if shes often engaged in combat. if not, well then.. i just dont know :(

She's never engaged battle in any form. Not sure about the sequel for the Wii, though I'm willing to bet she's pacifistic in that game too. Trying to come up with a moveset will be difficult because, unlike Falcon, there's no real theme for her. At least for Falcon, there's a falcon theme; Falcon Punch, Falcon Kick, Falcon Dive, Raptor Boost (Falcon Knuckle in Japan), etc.. What will Ashley have? "Ashley Punch"? "Robbins Foot"? "Another Slam"? "Coded Strike"?

What? They could all whats come up with new features for the das and tas? What are das? What are tas? How does this sentence make sense?
the das (dual another system) is the ds like gadget she has in both games, the tas (true another system) is the wii remote like gadget she has in another code r, i was saying they could come up with new features for the gadgets she carries around

I'm giving this a bump, as Ashley is probably the most unrealistic entry into Sm4sh that theoretically has a shot that I would love to see in the game. If you get what I'm saying. ;)

As has been said previously, she could represent one of the more popular types of DS games nowadays - mystery/adventure ones.
