Captain Falcon has been my favorite F-Zero pilot ever since the original F-Zero. He's probably one of Nintendo's characters who has unfolded most during the last generations, and he seems be more and more well known.

• He's the only F-Zero pilot who has been playable in other games besides F-Zero
• He's the only pilot who has gotten his own exclusive mode in a game.
• He's the only pilot to have both and TV show and a game named after him.

Background: Captain Falcon was the winner of the previous F-ZERO Grand Prix, an achievement that boosted his already-high popularity even higher. Beyond racing, he is quite well-know as an extremely capable bounty hunter -just how many criminals he's brought in is unknown, but the number is said to be astronomic. Aside from the fact that he hails from Port Town, his past is a complete mystery. His mind and body are honed from the many battles he has survived, and there is no challenge he can't overcome.

• Said in F-Zero X after you beat a cup with master: "I will now retire undefeated champion". Later in F-Zero GX we are told that Captain Falcon actually did win the F-Zero X Grand Prix, why he didn't retire afterall is unknown.
• His F-Zero X quote is: "My time has not yet passed."
• Has appeared in these games: F-Zero, F-Zero X, Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee, F-Zero GX, F-Zero AX, F-Zero: Falcon Legends.

Another unknown factoid: Captain Falcon never had an official first name in the Japanese version of F-Zero. The 'Douglas Jay' moniker was given to him for the American and European versions of F-Zero X.

Anyway, Captain Falcon is really cool even though people diss him a lot... I just like his Blue Falcon and find it one of the best to use in Falcon Densetsu. It can even overtake the Dragon Bird anyday!!! ^_-
