A few last words from me regarding the tournament.

First I want to thank everyone for coming to this, and I hope you enjoyed it!

Secondly, I wanted to apologize for Singles ending WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too late.
I know, that in some way, it was my/our fault. We took way too long for the brackets. Actually I dont even know why we took so long, but it just happened. I hope you can understand that hosting a 3-day-tournament is not an easy job, and there are many aspects and things you have to watch out for. I still hope that our late finish didnt completely destroy your overall experience, but if it did, I'm sorry.

Third, and therefore, as I already started planning BiB4 in my head at least, I will most likely do LESS events in future tournaments, and I will also do doubles on friday again like I did @ BiB1 & 2. Doubles + BIG Singles Pools probably was too much, it didnt work out very well as you realized... BUT

And here we get to the 4th thing I wanted to say. This community can be a bunch of ****ing kids. Srsly, when the hosts says "Stop Freeplay" whats so hard to just stop it?
Why do you always have to instantly play Freeplay on the TVs, when EVERY TV was used for Singles Pools???
Do you have any clue how hard it is to have the overview of 70 (!!!) people who just start playing free-play on whatever set-up is free or after finishing a set, without even asking anyone or thinking about anything.
This delayed the pools by A LOOOOOT, and created A LOOOOOT of chaos, as no one knew where people played freeplay and where pool matches are played. Should we better just ask every player if its freeplay or not? I'm sure you dont want to be asked questions midmatch, right?
Another thing were people that didnt show up / couldnt be find / no one know where they are... but oh well <_<
This time I was nice and didnt pull out my banhammer at all, I had a VERY big tolerance... TOO big to be honest... it probably was because I also thought we could finish soon enough, but I was wrong.

And then also have 5th, which is the sadest part of everything... why has it to be, that ALL THE TIME at nearly every tournament people steal smartphones and other stuff...
Are we a community or arent we? Who the hell does that ****?
If it was only food or something to drink, then that isnt that big of a deal, but if you steal someones iPhone you basically ruined one's tournamnt experience, COMPLETELY.
And not even that, you also just stress the nerves of the host too, do you have any clue how stupid of a situation I'm in when someones iPhone got stolen? I could either call the police which would most likely stop the tournament for a longer time, if not completely and we search it then, and if we find it, the person can be reported OR I just dont do anything about beside asking around and hope it will get back somehow (Basically what I did...)
So or so, this just is a completely NO-GO in a tournament and whoever did this, pls never show up again on one of my tournaments.

I will see if I really do BiB4 and what I do about the Stealing-Part...

An Idea would be that EVERYTIME someone see's something they bring it to me or the person who forgot it... or even better: KEEP ALL STUFF WITH YOU!!! (And better let expensive & personal stuff like an iPhone at home...)

I might type even more, but right now I'm really mad again, this whole iPhone-stealing story just completely destroys my trust & love in this community.

An amazing tournament !

I'm really glad I saved up some money to come to this one. You guys did a lot for the brawlers who came to this, it's an inspiration for future tournaments we might hold. The venue itself was big enough, and if it wasn't amazingly situated, it was still rather easy to get there. You can count me in for BiB4 ! ^^ All the other frenchis seem glad too !

+the hype ! German brawlers are so concerned whether they lose or win, it makes every match really interesting to play and watch.
~pools played in two "rounds"... A great idea but pools weren't enforced stricly enough, so instead of going super fast, they went super slowly, which led to... v
-singles ending way too late (killing most of the hype, too )
-stuff disappearing... definitly not your fault, but still sucks.
