Yo my based sons this tourney is gonna be hype as hell! We getting diverse with this tourney as this is a new houston series that will be ran by me, Maharba. The rules are going to be different compared to other tournies in tx and it is also different in that this tourney is capped at 24 people as this will be at our house. Thus this tournament is by rsvp only. please PM sync or myself (preferaby sync) to let us know you want to come or RSVP on the FB page https://www.facebook.com/events/108613765956080/. when the roster is full i will post who the 24 people are who can come this time around. Also we will be having free UMVC3 and P4A tournies at night as well as poker for those who wanna chillax afterwords.

Brawl Singles Rules:

Metaknight is banned.
Timer is 8 mins.
stock count is 3.
Best 2 out 3 (3 out 5 finals)
A loser is defined as someone who's stocks are reduced to 0 first or one who has less stocks and/or higher damage percent when the game says time.
If DDD, kirby, bowser, or ganondorf commit a suicide move and it is successful, the character who successfully initiated the suicide move wins regardless of what the end screen says. any problems that arise will be settled at TO's discretion.
port order is decided by rock paper scissors.

Brawl Doubles Rules:
Metaknight is legal in doubles but not double MK
port order is 1221. port order is decided by rock paper scissors.
team with most stocks and/or least percent at the end of the game is the winner.

When counterpicking, the winner of the previous round gets 2 stage bans. The winner is also locked into his character until he loses.

Lol, I think Greengreens is not that good of stage for Meta Knight; there are better stages for him. Low ceiling, narrow sides, plus random bomb blocks hurt more than help. Characters with good kill potential like Snake or Olimar would be great for this stage. G&W is good there as well.

Lololol have fun getting SL'd on the side or being camped on a side with in invincible Up B waiting to hit the bomb blocks or just plain Uair camped on the sides while the blocks regenerate

Its an extremely good stage for mk.

1. MK is MEGA safe sitting on either the right or left side of the stage. The foe is forced to approach you from above(mk's favor position)

2. One nado/up+b thru the wall of bricks fully refreshes his entire move set.

3. He can rufio at literally 0% and not even use all his jumps.

4. He can kill pretty much 30-40% earlier than normal.

5. There are 6 ledges for him to grab......godly.

6. Platforms=mk heaven.

7. apples aka items that explode. if you are good with items you are now an even more dangerous mk

8. You can UP+B through the bomb walls so its mega safe for you and scary for the foe.

9. typical brawl new gen not seeing these advantages=alsm

I got a temporary job at the UoH bookstore again and will be staying here at Sync's for the next 2-3 weeks, so yeah, I've got no choice lol. I'll be going all Samus in Singles and Ike in Doubles with Sync, though (THE BOLD AND THE BRAVE).

I think this tournament will end up being really fun :)
