Entry Fees:
  • Arcade Fee (Venue Fee) $15.00
    (Full Access to all arcade machines and games for the night! With venue fee paid, you get full use of all of the facilities in the venue. There over 100 arcade games and also console games, Xbox 360 + Free Xbox live, classic consoles with tons of games available, all available to play!)
  • Ultimate MvC3 1v1: $10.00 per player
  • Super Smash Bros Melee 1v1: $5.00 per player
  • Street Fighter 4: AE 1v1: $5.00 per player

UMvC3 & AE Prize Payouts:

1st place: 70%
2nd place: 20%
3rd place: 10%

Melee Prize Payouts:

1st place: 60%

Rules: Super Smash Bros. Melee​
General Rules:
  • 4 Stock Matches, 7 Minute Time limit
  • All sets are best 2/3 games. Winners Finals, Losers Finals and Grand Finals sets are best 3/5 games.
  • All items off.
  • If there is a tie at the end of the time limit, then the person with more stocks wins. If both players have the same amount of stocks, then the person with the lower percent of damage wins.
  • Wobbling is banned
  • Unless both players agree before a set, If you pause-reset a game, you forfeit that match. It doesn’t matter if you spiked your opponent, or if they were already dying off the top, just let the the game go to “GAME” in any tournament match.
Stage Pick Rules:
  • Stage Striking will be in effect for the first match of the set. The player with the lower (closest to the first) port will get to choose the first strike. You will each strike neutral stages until there is 1 stage left. The remaining stage will be played on game 1.
  • After a player wins a match, they can ban 1 stage for the set. Loser may then choose a neutral or counterpick stage for the next match.
  • PCC: If both players agree to play on a stage outside of this ruleset, you may play on that stage.
  • DMSR will be in effect. A player may not pick a stage that he/she’s already won on in a set, unless the other player agrees.

Singles are $5.00, but there is a $100 pot bonus in the works (For Melee).

I believe it more than makes up for the $15.00 venue fee, and anyone in the top 5 will be more than compensated for it

I will also be raffling out a brand new Halo 3 ODST and Forza Motorsport 3, both for Xbox 360. Every entrant will receive a free raffle ticket and be eligible to win the games, which will be raffled off at 10:30pm.

Sorry guys, this tournament is canceled. I will be saving the pot bonus for the December Event!

No Brawl? That sucks... You guys should try and get another Brawl tourney in before Apex. I'm looking through the tournaments and I don't see anything local enough for my tastes...

they prolly will have one before then. it's tough to have both melee and brawl at the same time and have to compromise setups/turnout

Yeah Josh, the next tournament will be Brawl/Melee for Apex practice.

Red Bank Rumble 12 is canceled in light of the effects of Hurricane Sandy. Don't want to risk people trying to come out to a tournament when there are currently no working traffic lights in the town of neptune, let alone Monmouth county in general.

RBR # 12 will most likely be held in December instead. Stay safe everyone.
