Low tier singles must be played after regular singles this time. I don't think regular singles started until like 8:30 and thats way too late because I know a lot of people were extremely tired(which led to me not entering). So I think low tier singles should only be played if theres enough interest and if its not too late after regular singles.

Low tier doubles should be fine as long as it starts at 10 like it says. I think It started an hour late the past tourney which caused everything else to start later than it should have.

As much as it pains me to say this, low tier doubles should be axed....

Seriously, it's a lot, and I do mean a LOT, of fun, but I really don't think it's worth it, when singles went so long. I'd say start the tournament AT 11 sharp with doubles, then do low tier so people actually enter and don't leave before it like they will if it's at the end, then do regular singles...

as long as it flows fairly smoothly, that way, it would end around 9 or 10....and not be as tiring.

Seconded. Speaking from the perspective of someone who didn't have any intention of playing in low tier no matter what the schedule was last time, there was a LOT of standing around doing nothing while all the TVs were taken up by low tier tournaments. I have no problem with you guys holding them, but making it so the people who aren't going to be playing in them don't have to stand around doing nothing for several hours would definitely be a plus.

I cast my vote for keeping both, for I have a great deal of patience with these matters (although me showing up right when the low tier team tournament was ending helped). I might actually participate in low tier singles this time around with Yoshi and Pikachu. If I don't think they're up to par (i.e. have a chance of winning), then I probably won't enter.

Exarch- Looks like you get to own it up with Roy after all! You say you would have gotten 1st/2nd? Now is your time to prove it! =D

I enjoyed both low tier and normal. However, a lot of people who did not enter every tourney were left standing around with nothing to do but watch. Granted, that is fun for a bit, but sometimes those people just want to play. My recommendation is that we keep all four tourneys, but definitely have at least two TVs setup specifically for friendlies throughout the entire day. That way everyone has a chance to play at all times.

Yes, Exarch, lets see how well your Roy does :)

Hopefully I will be un-grounded enough to make this one....

Probably can make this, sounds fun.
Who is coming with you? Anyone? NFL ftw.

P.S.

Me = Kid = Family = Celebrate Holidays with relatives....even small ones....so I'm not positive I can make this.

"Where am I on the screen, I just see a blur. I wear glasses because I'm blind - where am I? Are you blind, or ********?"

There are some people in this world who should just stick to Halo.
hey hey hey... theres nothing wrong with Halo... :) it is my main game you know. lol. but yea. those matches we played doubles on my small tv were funny because those guys were complaining the entire time about the size. just cause they were losing. :D good stuff.

Lol.... I got owned by school. :(

In English Class, my teacher assigned a project right before Winter Break, and expected us to do it over the break (gay), and it was a Speech project, and I am really really bad in front of groups of people, ans I just didn't do it. I had been getting A's on everything else, but it was still a 55F. Progress Reports were handed out a week ago, I showed it to my dad on Thursday, and I made it up over that weekend. I turned it in, she gave me half credit, and now I have a 79C. I think it's all good now, bringing it up before the end of the year doesn't seem too hard. Hopefully.
