As a special April Fools treat and a thank you to our fan base we will be hosting a "Community Tournament" with free entry.

The rules and description are below:

Hello everyone we are happy to announce that we will be hosting a "Community Tournament" on April 18th, 2015! We will be located at West Acres Mall Community Room (located in the basement next to Big Nick's). Doors open at 11am and the Tournament starts at 12pm! Feel free to show up early to get registered and to play some friendly matches against other participants!

Rules:
Stock: 5
Time: 10 minutes
Items: Draft
Teams: No
Type: Free-For-All (4 players)
Custom: No, just due to the hassle of letting people customize fighters and the time it would take
Banned Stages: Omega
Legal Stages: Anything but Omega
Prizes: TBD for top 3 places
Venue Fee: $0
Tournament Fee: $0

When you arrive please make a line at the registration desk and we will get you signed up and signed in. You also be shown the current item list and be asked to either turn 1 (one) item ON, or turn 1 (one) item OFF. Everyone who participates will be given this option. If you are unsure or don't want to choose then a staff member will choose for you. The Item Draft effects all stations and will stay in effect for the FIRST ROUND. Wen the round is over we will re-draft the item list for the those that advanced.

Progression:
2 (two) participants will advance from each bracket. Each bracket is made up of 4 (four) participants. Whomever takes 1st place in the match will advance. Then whomever has the most KOs will advance as well. Should the player who took 1st also have the highest KO count then the 2nd highest KO count will advance.

This is a fun tournament that we wanted to throw for not just our local smash crew, but for our local fans and community to let them come and check out some of what can happen at the monthly events we host as well.
