Notes so far for possible changes:
-Adjust Links Gravity for Sh aerials off stage
-ZSS (lower shorthop maybe)
-Ganondorf w/ Cape's values for sure
-Lucas can't AC fair and maybe nair
-Boost Sonics fair so its slightly easier to fair AC
-Possibly increase marios SH to make the double air slightly easier

Waiting for more opinions on Cape's set as well. So we can compare/contrast what values should truly be.

How are the opinons on my set going anyway? I dont have access to IRC so I cant check it out.

What I would like to see is have people who play the characters (a small net group) test them out for a bit.

Example:

I would be doing Ganon's values and via PM talking to:
GoodOldGanon
Kaotical
otherbrawlganonhere

And taking their opinions to changing his personal physics around to get him the right feel.

This would be a great way to approach Beta3. We can take Shanus and my sets as starting points, have the people pick which one they think is closest and modify the values slowly until it feels perfect to people who main the character.

From what I heard people think it will be better with aerial momentum. I know a few really liked your ganondorf and other heavies, but people were also a pain because they didnt want to test it because of its lower values. However, aerial momentum is coming out soon, so thats the true test for it all.

I played with it for another hour today and it definitely has pretty good values, but just feels too floaty in the air for my preference. We'll see when the game changer comes out soon!

I think that we should wait for aerial momentum to come out at least before Beta 3. That way we can test the values more readily.

Did you like my Fox, Falco, and Ike?

Edit in response to changes:
Try my Link. ZSS is good how she is (I tried lower SH and it actually hurts her), and try my Lucas.

100% agreed. Ike played well, I think we have pretty similar values for him and a general same outlook. I prefer my Fox & Falco, tbh. They just feel faster with a slight increase in the upgrav and all. I forget your values you used (do you have your chart saved somewhere, its a lot easier than looking in the codeset and converting).

I need to crash though, exam at 9am. Let me know what you think of my set.

If air momentum comes out tomorrow (Wednesday), let's try and chat on aim at some point afterwards to really crank this out before the long weekend.

Good old Ganon is working on combining what he likes about our sets together, which may be another interesting place to look. I will PM you my values and my AIM.

I will be available until about 2 pm, then again at about this time.

Something interesting happened. When I turned on the momentum code with my set DDD got his CG back and Fox got his shine sprints back.

I would like to keep the Fox ones, but the DDD CG needs to go. I wonder what caused it.

Also, the jump speed momentum code keeps 100% of your dash speed on your first jump or when you run off a platform. Bit too high, I would like to see it so it only applies to jumps and its shortened to 80%

Bump for people to see. Cape and I made Beta Set 3. We feel this feels AMAZING. Just need to tweak link & yoshi and it'll be perfecto. Also, you'll notice MK dies a bit earlier now ;-)

Damage dealt to Bowser is reduced by a fixed amount. I recommend careful tweaking - even 2 seems overpowered, and 1 might end up being too much. Non-integer values are fine. The value to change is the first line, currently set to 1 (3F800000)

Code:
Whorenado Nerf [Almas, 10 Lines]
0400183C 3FA00000

40820010 3C808000
C004183C EC200072
4E800020 00000000
The code doesn't stack with character specific gravity, but it can be integrated into it without much hassle. The first line (3FA00000) denotes the value of it - I set it to something which feels nice to me. MK can rise during the middle portion of his tornado, but falls slightly at the start and end. It means that players can SDI out of it fairly easily now, but it retains some useful functions.

Tell me which you want, and the values to use, and I'll incorporate them into the next set, which I will write either tomorrow or Friday night, including spunit's new code.

I think we'll have the code values finalized tonight. I definitely think the bowser buff should go in. Any chance you could have that codeset made tomorrow? I'm going to be gone for the long weekend and would like to test it before its released :O
