Straight Lunge has frame 1 heavy armor and Rising Uppercut has frame 1 intangibility . (i think thats how it goes)
The point of this thread to show jab combos as well as a couple other multi-hit moves that are escapable without the help from DI-- not to mention they act as counters.
Some other moves like Nair (frame 2), jab (frame 1) can also be used.

- RU works.
- SL works. Unsafe- Luigi can shield and punish
Down B : Inconsistent- % dependent, ground/midair dependent
- Grounded
- Nair : 0 ~ 35%. Becomes a losing trade at a few percents higher
- RU : 0 ~ 55%. Starts becoming inconsistent as the hitstun lasts longer in between hits. If Mac doesn't touch the ground at all before the final hit, it can still work up to 70%.
- SL : 0 ~ 65%.
2. Mid-Air (Luigi starts the attack while in the air)
- None If Luigi does a down b as he lands, its possible to tech the fourth hit.
Dair
- RU works.
- SL works. unsafe
- Airdodge works. Unsafe
- Jolt Haymaker can punish if Mario does a sh-dair with forward momentum and it doesn't trap you fully.
