Edgeguarding Ike

How does one edgeguard Ike? It seems near impossible, none of the "standard fox edgeguards" seem to work and only leave you vulnerable offstage when you get hit. The only kills I can ever get on an Ike are upthrow-upairs or 150+% bairs, which I don't want to rely on.

Any tricks to gimping or properly edgeguarding his recovery?

The spacing is very tight on most of these and the timing is slightly lenient.

You can Dsmash Ike as he's going to start the UpB or as he's about to get on the ledge.

Shine spike as he's still going to rise if below the ledge. Simply drop down from ledge -> shine spike

While started in UpB (sword is swinging around) you can knock Ike back with a Bair
