Falcon's New Tier Placement

Not surprised. Ike has the tourney placingsand metagame advancement to prove he should move up 5 spots. Falcon doesn't have those? I believe he's better than his current placement, but.. no one's really proving it.

Is it just me, or are our match-ups really favourable against the entire low-tier roster?

You mean 45-55, and Mario is indeed better than Falcon, but not by much. I say 45-55 or 40-60 is fine.

Actually, Falcon went +1 but the introduction of Shiek/Zelda meant everybody below her got -1, so it canceled out

At the most, Falcon's got maybe two spaces of improvement left and then he's probably done for good. He might never get that, but I don't feel he deserves any more or less, honestly.

True. My opinion on this changes almost daily, but I think we can make it to top of low tier by the next Smash game xD

Falcon isn't going to get much higher. I'm actually surprised he's improved this much. But I guess with all the semi-useful punishing strategies we've discovered since the game came out... yeah.
He's not going to make it out of low tier though, I'm pretty certain of that. Unless we find something that's completely match-up shifting for him, no. Which I don't think that's even possibility this late in the game.

Yeah Falcon rising out of low tier is highly unlikely. Maybe if he gets a 0-death guaranteed combo on MK that he can perform easily.
