Smash Rookie
I always find the Ike MU really hard. Actually, I think all the sword/characters with large disjoints are really hard. Any tips for playing against Ike? I specifically find it extremely difficult to edgeguard Ike well.

A lot of sword characters will get trashed with DJC fair, or atleast Ike. He's also combo food, so avoid that long sword and you'll be good. I'd add a lot more but I'm hella tired and I know someone willjump in and answe the resy
Edge guarding Ike is pretty hard. Here are three scenarios:
1.) There are no platforms, and he won't sweet spot the ledge: down smash.
2.) There are no platforms, and he will sweet spot, but there's added ambiguity that he may not: hold ledge, LJC nair (see AT guide for how to LJC).
3.) There are platforms: there is no way to cover all options here, but I like jumping and using a fast fall fair to cover the platform and missed sweet spot to force him off the stage again.
If he uses up+b, your down smash reaches farther than his sword, as does your fsmash if you space it properly, so you can just smack him coming down..
