Help with Stage control?

I have really bad stage control as diddy, but i have all of he's tec down. What is some good ways to keep control of the stage?

Diddy has a really good down tilt. You can really abuse that in the neutral. Also, just leaving the banana peel on stage and reacting to how the opponent deals with it can be very effective. Place the banana peel in front of you in between you and your opponent with about two body lengths distance between you and the banana. If they pick it up with dash attack, then you can punish their poor option. If they try to jump over it then you can intercept with a forward air. If they try to camp you out then you can assume stage control and power shield their projectiles. When you hold the banana peel in your hand your opponent may expect you to throw it, but you can still use your specials to keep them guessing.
