So I'm a long time player looking to finally start getting into the competitive scene, but I have no idea how to go about finding local tournaments in my area to join. Can anybody point me in the right direction of where to start looking?

Awesome! I'll try these suggestions, but I'm looking to join tournaments and compete for money. Will these same suggestions work?

As outlined in the Forum Rules (and some other resources):
  • Areas like Regional Zones can help you find other users and local tournaments.
  • r/smashbros has a Regional Database of most area's Facebook groups.
  • smash.gg allows you to look for tournaments by region.
