Need advice/tips/strategies on how to use Yoshi...

After seeing Wario go from 7-3 place on the tier list I decided that it wasnt going to be as fun or rewarding to win with him anymore. I decided to go to Yoshi since I dont know anyone who uses him and hes really low on the list. I won all my matches against my friends when I was Wario, but now that im using Yoshi ive lost all my one v one matches. I even lost to my friend when he was Ganondorf and Bowser:mad:. I really need tips and strategies on how to use Yoshi. Any help?:confused:
