Using a doublejump right after your first jump when on battlefield will allow pikachu to avoid the landing animation in immediately shield or techase upsmash out of a upthrow vs spacies, the tech can be preformed by quickly sliding your thumb over both x and y.

another no impact land that can be preformed using pikachu on battlefield is a run of doublejump, this is also useful for techasing spacies out of upthrow as it alows you to instantly shield upon landing and upsmash quicker to catch a tech in place given the neutral land as opposed to a waveland.

overall this makes following up off of upthrow easier and getting a platform techase safer for pikachu vs spacies.
if you don't understand why this is faster it is due to the fact that wavelanding has a 10 frame lag upon landing. the reason it is safer is that the no impact land allows you to shield fast enough to cover a getup attack.
