Roy strategies and changes since implementation?

I've been off sm4sh since Roy was added, so I don't know any buffs of nerfs he may have received since then, so can you list them as well as strategies please?

Only changes are the universal ones, like Shield Stun changes.

As for strategies, please refer to the various pinned threads.

IIRC the only balance changes Roy got were fixes to Blazer and uncharged Flare Blade getting a 1% damage buff.
