Was just looking, and he's at a Tournament called "Divine Intervention". Couldn't find a stream or bracket link on their Facebook page, sadly.
Given it was against Fatality, Puff does do well (at least even) against Falcon, but I do wish there were matches to examine to see what happened.

Holy crap really?

Puff has always been said to have a good Falcon matchup; arguably a winning one. Just saying.

Yea, Falcon is considered one of Jiggs best matchups and +1, some think +2 even (I think +1). This is one of the few that just about everyone agrees is in our favor, the debate comes from how much.

I still think Jiggs loses to Falcon. Good stuff to Hbox though, but I'm willing to bet that Fatality didn't know the MU at all. Once Falcon plays campy and passive, there's not much Jiggs can do. But if you only rush in (like most Falcons) you're gonna get rekt.

Kels got the reset 3-2 then won 3-0 in GF vs Venom. If I'm not mistaken, Kels went Kirby games 1-2 and Sonic for the rest, and Venom used Ryu for all games except game 2, which he used Bayo. Venom won games 2 and 3.
EDIT: Today is like the Ryu vs Sonic day. Seagull Joe defeated Darkshad 2-1 in last hit last stock situation, and Trela 3-0 Espyo.

Zinoto has also beaten him multiple times.

People say Diddy struggles versus Rosa but results wise when the best Rosa loses to multiple Diddy Kongs...idk.

I think people assume any matchup where Diddy can't use bananas a lot is bad for him but forget how good he is even without them.

People say the character has fallen from top tier status (and he has at big tournaments) but it looks like his players are beginning to optimize his punishes and general gameplay.

Easily a top 10 character still.
