Smash Wii U Swap Wii U Pro Analog Stickbox with Gamecube

Does anyone know if the Gamcube Controller analog stickbox is compatible with the Wii U Pro controller?

I really like the ergonomics of the Wii U Pro, but do not like the feel of the analog stick. If I could replace the stickbox with that of a Gamecube Controller's, it would be the perfect controller in my eyes. Has anyone tried this before?
