As of right now... Ike will suck...prepare for it. But it will take a dedicated person who knows how to play competitive to bring out the bad a** nature that could and will be Ike.

Also.. the taunt is a way of life. If you do not taunt after a kill you had better have a good reason. I always taunt when i kill my friends Cpt. Falcon... and then get hit with a falling knee..... but it was oh so worth it.

Of course you have to taunt. The only reason not to taunt is if you have something better to do, like charge an attack or go turnip picking.

wow this is a HORRIBLE thread

roy is NOTHING like ike whatsoever, roy isn't even particularly slow at all, whereas ike is much slower than bowser, and you saying that bowser played the same as he did in melee is SO false i cant even believe it

wow.

read my impressions, and not this thread.

I stated it before and I will state it again, I never had any intentions of directly comparing any character. If you read my topic starter post, you will see that it never compared Ike to Roy, directly. It was a generalization, nothing more. You are the ones that turned it into a Roy verus Ike discussion. I just kept the topic alive by having a conversation about that as well.

On a side note, I consider Bowser in both Melee and Brawl to be familar with one another. I don't believe the two versions to be 360 degree opposites. Show me how they are different as I don't see much besides what I have already stated.

Show you.... that would have to mean that you would have to play Brawl.. and to the best of my knowledge .. that won't happen for a little while....
I am going to have to believe Gimpy on this one... i personally didn't get to E4 all so i have no idea how bowser is played.... so his opinion is fine for me.

I will say nothing on Ike until I play as him, I don't take other's opinions into account when it comes to playing with characters despite Gimpy being a very credible source.

I will completely withold judgement until Feb. 10th.

I don't know if i will be able to take it. Continually watching videos from e4 all is tearing me apart. I want to play!

But wait i must. Even if it kills me. Maybe i could freeze myself like Cartman did in Go, God, Go. Then the two months would seem almost instantaneous.
