    The best video game controller of all time in my opinion would have to be the N64 controller because it was really good for playing FPSs and felt great in your hands. (i.e. Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark 64.)

    The best controller on the market right now? I'd have to go with the Xbox 360 controller, because it looks good, feels good in your hands and excels at shooters. (i.e. The Call of Duty and Halo series.) The only downside with the 360 controller is that it's d-pad sucks and if you plan on playing any fighting games, go for the PS3 controller.

    And it's a first-party controller. I have never bought and do not trust third-party controllers because of their low quality and absurd designs. I have used third-party controllers before and hated them.

    Combining the blog with the thread would mess with the sequential nature of the posts, making the thread hard to follow.

    I'd suggest just sticking with the new thread and going from there.

    There's a reson thread mergers and the like aren't common practice, cos just sticking with one thread is plain easier.

    I'm mainly the mod for all of melee.

    I was given the board Melee/64 because they have combined though. I have power to do anything there but since the mods there do fine i really don't do too much in the 64 boards.

    Mods are not allowed to give infractions to other mods (and obviously, not allowed to give infractions to Supermods or admins etc.). I don't know if this rule applies to higher ranking titles (e.g. I don't know if Supermods can infract/ban mods, etc.).

    Though that said, saying a mod is immune to getting banned is not true. Any mod can have their powers removed (for various reasons), and can then be banned if the situation leads itself to it (it has been done before if I remember right... not at once, but over time).

    For the specific reason why it's a rule, you're going to have to ask an admin, since I don't have the answer. It's not something that I personally agree with, but that's neither here not there. :) For reference, here's the rule from the Global Rules:
