    But yeah, Falco's an honest boxer-type character, but his neutered neutral game (Blaster cancel removed and decreased physical hitbox ranges) make his spacing and approaching utter crap. He's strong but overshadowed via his changes from Brawl to Smash 4.

    He also has fast falling speed, slow air speed and only average mobility. His transition was received quite badly to the point where he was considered to be one of the worst characters on initial release before he got buffs to his boxing/combo game.

    Another problem is that he sometimes hits a bit too hard at certain percents to combo as effectively compared to Fox, who can combo well across a wider range of percents with or without rage. Falco's almost akin to Dr. Mario in terms of overall downsides only Dr. Mario has a much better neutral.
