Diddy is silly. Pikachu feels great now. He racks up damage so easily, never has to commit, and seems to kill pretty easily now with VI removal upsmash, sidesmash, and Thunder.

Do good Diddy's prefer to keep a banana in hand or to put one on the stage to force opponents to jump over it? I feel like a thrown banana can be easily shielded/spotdodged/rolled out of, but a placed banana can also be destroyed or waited out until it vanishes.

This is very reassuring. It could be disastrous of he was buffing and nerfing characters based on their online winrate, because how well characters are played by the general masses doesn't indicate how good they truly are.

Maybe I'm just awful, but I'm really getting frustrated with Toon Links that just roll around spamming their boomerangs and bombs. Way too much of a pain in the ass to deal with.

I don't think Pikachu can completely about being hit like you make it sound. Quick attack has lag and is punishable--using it back and forth is almost like using Falco's side b to get around the stage in melee. Pikachu does have good combo game, but he can't mill very well. Those are the same...

Necropost, but what is this great approach everybody keeps talking about Pikachu having? Is it his QA? Can you QAC in this game? If not, isn't there enough lag to punish him out of QA? Can Pika do anything out of his QA?

Can somebody explain why Pikachu is cancerous? I see a lot of talk about how good/cancerous he is, and I don't understand it. I know he can combo, but is his combo game that much better than others? It feels like I'll do long links with him that don't do much damage, and my opponents get 2...

Instead of people posting all these premature tier lists, we should be discussing matchups. Right now, does it look like Rosalina and Shiek have any bad matchups, or even any 50/50 matchups? How many other characters can we say that about? Greninja feels like he can have some bad matchups...

Agreed. Why do people consider ZSS and Greninja to be better than Diddy and Yoshi?

I really don't think Greninja has as good of combo game as Diddy... And does Hydro Pump even gimp any of the top characters?

Yup, I use it as a mix up when they are going to air dodge the upair. I think it lasts longer and frame traps, and it keeps them in the air.
