  • hey, what does start regular gecko mean? I start Gecko OS, start normally, I see a messed up picture, i view it, exit, but I cannot play your version! am I doing anything wrong?
    do you have a link for codemgr 1.0 by any chance?

    version 1.1 has some odd glitch that will not let me place over 252 lines. so, it will make Gecko 1.8.02 pretty much useless.

    I am surfing google, wiibrew, etc. and I still cannot find anything...
    Neither of us really like playing faster, it's pretty much the main reason we don't play melee together anymore. We've played less and less b+ as it gets faster, I mostly only keep up with it because I was interested in the project. Maybe we'll play with it some more, though.
    I tried out your set with my brother the other day, the newest one with nadt and all that, and most of it wasn't that bad. NAT wasn't as bad as I remembered it being, but I ended up just not using AD at all after awhile, so it seemed to me like the code might as well just disable AD altogether.
    Some of the stage changes were weird, too. Corneria was good but I was hoping it would be closer to back in 64, or at least have a higher roof. And was SV enlarged? We had the hardest time recovering there with some characters, but it might've just been the dgrav.

    Couple questions, though; what was the point of upping FF and how come you don't have handicap buffer added? The increased FF stuff was what killed it for both of us this time, neither of us cared that much about NADT I don't think, it was just a minor annoyance at worst.
    I don't like NAD, but I'm willing to bear through using it. However my brother is the only person I have to play with and he already dislikes Brawl+ enough. He didn't like NAD when we first used it and I don't like hearing him complain the whole time we play >___>

    I'll try the faster camera code, I was only asking to keep it out as I was under the impression it was really buggy. Np about waiting though.

    Should I wait for the updated grav values to try it out then?
    Could I bother you for a copy of your codeset snapshot without the wizkick changes, camera code and NAD?

    Amg, I agree completely. I want your codeset over the plussery!! Do you still update your site with the newest codeset that you shoot out? If so, I'm just gonna download yours from now on ^-^
    whats up man, i just saw ur combo vid...too good!! I've actually added pit to my roster, hes such a great character w/ tons of potential, & when brawl 1st came out, I dreamed of playing pit, & winning tournaments w/ him. He just wasnt right 4 me @ that moment, but now he is...XD

    I want to know what the most important things to know w/ pit are. It seems like looping & wingdashing are if but what am I missing? Also how have u placed in tornaments so far w/ pit? How does he fare vs MK? cause I main zelda & debating between the difference of how they do to give me an advantage vs high tier. Ive partially decided to use pit vs snake since he can gimp so well, i just want the best chances of winning w/ my characters @ high level :] any tips or anything else is appreciated
    can you send me the gold set codes or the standard codes used online?

    Any chance you guys can get a code that skips loading the opening video and go straight to the menu? That would save a lot of unnecessary time... esp on burned disks with custom music that take twice as long to load as normal. Plus it'd speed up my tourney setup process.

    how do you figure that? Have you guys voted (or are voting) on an offical rule set or somthing?
    that would work, but i don't think that helps over the current method, since that would involve a lot of game quitting/ reloading. Currently, we just time a spot dodge that we know when it ends, but that's kinda long to do for every move, so we were looking for a fast way to do it. Thanks again!

    Hey kupo, your work is money in the bank. You indirectly introduced me to how fun Brawl could be with Brawl+, and I want to thank you for it. Keep up the win!
    Something I've noticed... When dash dancing in Brawl+, you can't put up your shield. What I mean to say is, you can't put your shield up at all during your initial dashing animation. That lowers the amount of options the player has in my opinion.. do you agree? If someone misses a tech when they hit the ground, most would DD beside them and react accordingly.

    Get up attack >>> shield out of DD (not possible in current Brawl+) and shieldgrab

    Roll left/rollright >>> DD towards them and grab/punish

    Do you see what I mean? It essentially limits all options of the DDing player to shielding (which is mostly ineffective as they realize this and roll away) as all the failed-tech player has to do is Get-Up-Attack to avoid being punished. I was hoping to get your opinion on this and was wondering if you could push for this code to be implemented, seeing as you're basically the head atm.
