  • Oh man. I keep seeing manga on your list that I never see anyone else ever having read and it's awesome, lol. Mirai Nikki, Ikigami, Liar Game and Bitter Virgin are all favorites of mine. And Nana!

Also, I'm the exact same way when it comes to Manga/Anime. Setting aside the time for anime isn't something I'm very good at, haha. But with manga i can read it while doing other things or listening to music, and I don't feel like so locked into one thing. Definitely going to set aside the time to make a list when I get the chance, though.
Oh my, someone else that's watched Rahxephon! I'm shocked, haha. I don't have a manga/anime list, but I kinda want to make one now, lol. I might do that, actually. Does MyAnimeList work well for manga as well? I tend to read a lot more manga than I watch anime.
Yep yep, it's still ongoing. Daida doesn't show up until about a good bit of the way through, so yeah, you might not have gotten that far.

Definitely going to check out Sexy Voice and Robo, thanks for the recommendation! I've been looking for a new manga to start on. And from what I read, it looks like it's something I would like.
It's Daida from Deadman Wonderland, a manga that's a bit umm... under the radar, haha.
Gotta say, I've always wondered what yours is from as well, lol.
I tried playing Tiberian Sun a few years ago, and couldn't really get into it. Dunno if it would be different now with Tiberian Dawn.

Also, Impossible Creatures truly does sound awesome. I will have to find a copy of that at my offline completely legal electronics retailer.
The classic Command & Conquers like Tiberian Dawn are amazing and free to download now.

I think the most novel of RTSes I've ever played was Impossible Creatures, basically you combine different creatures together in body layers, so don't even mess with my Elephobsterfly. Yeah then you'd make an army of different freaks and destroy your enemy's base. Was really fun.

    Was so awesome.
For some reason you just reminded me of Evil Genuis. I used to play that game so much when I was young.

RTS just isn't as good these days, I miss the Westwood developed C&Cs and the old Total Wars.
Got no love for rastas huh?

And yeah when I mention Charles being awesome, it was to do with his social Darwinism and awesome conquest of the world. His whole unification thing was really lame. Bascally Charles is the personification of what I'd love to be, a eugenics spouting madman emperor with 1000 concubines and big machines blowing **** up.
Well I haven't really changed much so heh.

Jar Jar was funny because was basically a black man alien, but of course, not actually a good character.

Diethard was nuts, so I liked him too, but nobody has anything on Emperor Charles.
Everyone hates me at first, I'm used to it.

Btw, Star Wars Ep III is my favourite, purely for the massive amounts of Palpatine win in it.

And yeah it is Papa Lelouch, a man who speaks great truth and takes no ****. Takes over the world and doesn't afraid of anything.
Whichever one speaks more wise words and remains 100% calm at the same time.

Can't even remember. Puppet Yoda seemed less pissy though.
Ahh that's a fair outlook on it.

Yeah that's exactly what I mean with the plot. It becomes too much to keep up with, then when you're quite far in, you completely forget about the original plot which has absolutely NOTHING to do with what's happening at the present time. I can't stand the four terrors in manga or anime. These being Dragonball, One Piece, Naruto or Bleach. I can never see them having any kind of planning. I read the manga for Negima!? but I was less then impressed and it quite literally put me off all manga. I guess my thoughts shouldn't be that shallow however.
That's a fair stance on the matter. I personally found Elfen Lied to be very deep in it's story in terms of the anime.

I always find that a deep and gripping storyline is what drives me on to watch an anime, regardless of it's segments, that's why I prefer it over manga. I find manga to be too versatile and while that is normally a good thing in other cases, in this one I believe a storyline should follow a set plot and not have it change every few chapters.
I know what you mean. The only other visual novels I've played are Fate/stay night (good, but a commitment) and Planetarian (try this one, it's only like 3 hours and basically flawless). But yeah, the genre as a whole has some maturing to do, especially when it comes to buildup/pacing. Umineko's highs definitely compensate for its lows and it has a strong fan following, but you'll have to try it for yourself to see if it's really your cup of tea.
    Which VN would that be?

And yeah, there are fan translations out there. I can't read Japanese either.
Umineko. Explaining it is hard, but I'll try. :) It's a visual novel in episodes (only one more till it's completely finished) about a mass murder on an island. Aside from the murder mystery, it delves into the characters, the mystery genre itself and witchcraft, in the sense that a witch claims to be behind it all (which is upheld until the main character would succeed in exposing the truth). Like with many VNs, the pacing is pretty bad at times, but it's definitely unlike anything I've ever read.
There's only one other person I've heard say "danke"

And you will do no such thing! :mad113:
Really? I think it matches with the red hair.
But I won't lie, the green does suit it better. But still, the red goes with it a little.
Hey, congrats on Senator. I'm probably late but I haven't been on this site in days.

    Red looks good!
It's not that I didn't enjoy it. It's something I'm not used to in listening to music.
It's like one of those songs where if I listen to it enough I'll eventually like it.
I think so myself, I do wish I had the actual smile that shows, but it's close enough haha.

How did you like the movie?
