^ I second what he said For some out-of-the-box ideas... You could do doubles with random partners (put some names in a hat and pick two). It's sort of an ice breaker to get people talking who don't normally play together (which is fun), and hopefully the bad players will get partnered up...

I don't think anyone lives around Crown Point unfortunately, and there aren't any tournaments around there either. Maybe if some people from IN were coming up to an IL tourney they could pick you up, or if IL was traveling to an IN tourney, but you're probably out of luck until you can drive...
