Wow, it's still crashing even with the codes that were just posted. I wonder if I have a bad texture that's only acting up now - it worked perfectly before 4.0.

That version seems to be working so far. I wonder what was wrong!

Nope, still crashes. I haven't upgraded to Wii Menu 4.0, so that's not an issue.

I'll try ditching the pause codes. Kinda sucks, I've been trying to put together a whole bunch of screenshots of all my texture hacks so I can make custom screen selection images for all of 'em and the camera hack makes it easier. Lessee if that's the problem...

Is it just me or is 4.0 extremely unstable? I'm trying this new one out and it won't stay fine for more than a minute or two, tops, before crashing. Mostly it's right when choosing "Brawl" but sometimes if I make it through it's later, when the game starts. This never happened before I tried...

Okay, with that information I was able to look through and find that it was the 'custom random' code part of a character select screen. I found the correct one and it seems to have saved perfectly. Thank you very much! I don't understand code or debugging or any of that.

I'm getting a strange error when I try to put together a GCT. It says, "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Could not find...

So... nothing? Even with a step-by-step guide you won't even try to do it yourself? :ohwell:

I compiled a guide about texture hacking from all the websites I visited to get it running. Getting Brawl+ is much the same. Follow Part One completely. Then, go to this thread and download the American .GCT in the second post and put it in a folder named 'codes' on the root of your SD card...

When I click the guy's name I get this and this only: So, my hopes aren't too high. :\

It looks far more complicated than it is. I put together all the steps from all the websites I followed from beginning to end when setting up homebrew and changing the textures here and so far it's helped a few people figure it out. If you need more help, you can contact me via AIM or Skype...

Ocarina isn't around anymore now that codes are integrated into Gecko OS, but right now the popular thing is using codes to load custom textures off an SD card, effectively giving players the option of visually changing stages, characters, items, assist trophies, and more.
